Great prices, excellent service and in the Portland dine around. We had a great haddock burger, seafood chowder and a decent but well priced prime rib. The salad bar option made it even better.

A unique atmosphere. Mostly, the food was great. My prime rib was missed on the order and was rushed out of the kitchen. I love rare meat but this was raw. I was full anyway by the time it arrived and gladly took it home for later. It was delicious as was the rest of our meal.
My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the place. The smell upon arrival almost made me leave before being seated. And sitting in our booth, (the smell was better) I could see food splatters on the wall. The curtains needed serious cleaning and the decor as well. That is the reason for my rating.
The service was great, the food great albeit the mishap with mine. Clean up the joint please.
I will likely check it out again because the food was that good. But if the cleaning doesn’t happen….I’m out and my rating will drop to 1 star.

Wow – such good food. I went to Dena’s with a larger party of 12. We made reservations for 5:30 on a weekday, but easily could have been seated without one before six. Everything we ate was delicious – even the kid meals, which were nicely priced and adequately proportioned. Three of us had specials – all superb. There is also plenty in the menu for non-seafood lovers to have their choice. Steak was cooked perfectly to my order. Chowder and haddock were excellent.
Ambience is nice, though not overly fancy. Jeans or shorts are appropriate. Drinks are fairly priced, and the cocktails/mixed drinks looked good. Free salad bar (with chicken noodle soup) and warm rolls with each meal. Pool tables were in good shape and in the room next to the dining area, closer to the bar. There are a few kid games, but some of them were not operational (my only issue with the place). This is a great, informal place for families, dates, or a get-together with friends.

Great food and great prices! My boyfriend and I were there last night. He got twin lobsters and I got a huge plate of fried clam strips with sweet potato fries. Our meals came with the salad bar and a roll. We both got an alcoholic beverage – a fish bowl, which was delicious, and one was enough for me to feel buzzed. I also got a dessert to take home. Everything was great and our bill came to $67, which I think is very reasonable and probably about the same as we would pay at any chain restaurant for the same amount of food. I was also happy with the service – we were waited on by Dena herself. In addition to great food and prices, there is a bar with pool tables and an air hockey table and a room in the back where local bands play on Fridays and Saturdays. There is another bar, tables, and a dance floor. I highly recommend Dena’s if your looking for a place to have dinner, shoot some pool, hear some live music, or all three!

A friendly and attentive staff. Too bad they’re incompetent. Four mistakes were made with our drink and food orders with no apologies. Both meals were lack luster however the salad bar was a nice touch. Other clientele were noisy and rude with their bumping and pushing at the salad bar and around our table. All this a 6 PM. This place has no class. If the food and service were stellar that might make it worth a trip but my wife and I won’t be back.

Awesome – we have been casual patrons since opening day. Dena’s always exceeds expectations! Service and food quality are fabulous. Something always makes the doggie bag as the quantities are enormous. Dena and the staff are extremely warm and attentive. This is Windham’s best meal in town!

My boyfriend and I go here all the time. They have 3 pool tables, so if you go at peak times and that’s what you’re going for, you may be out of luck. But they rent them by the hour, and at least 1 of them you can just pay by game with the quarter machine. They have a little mini arcade with air hockey and a couple other mini games. Aside from the tables they have in the bar/pool area, they have a large dining room to the left of that, and a huge space out back where they have live music Fridays and Saturdays, also they rent it out for parties and what not. Staff is always super friendly, but there’s only a limited staff. So if they are busy, expect a little bit of a wait or delay, but they’re always super super friendly. Often you will see Dena herself on the bar or serving tables, very sweet lady. The girls are awesome, Amber, Mandy, Kim, they’re all great and super nice. It’s definitely a local spot, so you’ll always see the same people there. They have several big tv’s in the bar area, so you can always expect to see whatever game is on. Food is also very good, and definitely fresh. My favorite is the lobster melt and the lobster bisque. They have a small salad bar and soup of the day when you get meals, these usually come with it. Over all, great place with lots of friendly faces.

This place is great. My sister-in-law was visiting us and has Celiac and this was one of the best places to go for her. Cross contamination was our biggest concern, but they are very knowledgeable and were extra careful. They even knew which salad dressing had gluten.

Lo was very pleasant and helpful. We loved our lobster rolls and the fries were plentiful and delicious. Nice sale bar with fresh items. We sent our guys there to watch the Stanley Cup hockey game.
