We stopped in on a Monday evening in February, in the area for skiing. We had drinks and dinner. We ordered whiskey old fasioneds, and they were GREAT–and we know our whiskey old fasioneds. For dinner, we started with the loaded tots, and my husband and I both had the classic burgers. The service was fast and attentive. The food was hot and delicious. Everything was very reasonably priced. We will definitely return when we are in the area. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Den-O’s Sports Bar, at 401 Sunday Lake St, in Wakefield, MI. I had driven by this place earlier in the week and it was packed. So, I came by on a Monday and had a great lunch. I ordered the walleye chunk meal special. It was delicious and I enjoyed more than I should have eaten. My bartender was real friendly and I enjoyed our conversation. A good place to try.

A perfect spot for some lunch or dinner. This sports bar was a super fun place for our dinner/night out without the kids on a random Sunday night. Jeremy the cook made some mouthwatering food. I had the wings which were out of this world. He also made us his special loaded Fries he created himself which I can’t wait to get back for more. The bartender, Drew, was fun to chat with while we played darts and had some drinks. Will be back soon!

Doesn’t look like much. Just your typical upper peninsula bar…. Until you try the food. Good food is hard to come by up here but man they know how to cook. They also use beef tallow instead of seed oils. No joke! And yes you can taste the difference. Love this place.

Fantastic food and marvelous service!
The grilled shrimp(part of their Friday fish fry) was to die for! I also loved the option to get half fries, half potato salad for the side.
Though I should have just got a full potato salad, because it was freaking delicious!
I haven’t had potato salad that good since I was down south in Tennessee.
10/10 would definitely recommend!
