Opened in 1999, Dempsey’s is the 2nd oldest brewery in the state,. Family run, and a fun atmosphere. From our 21+ Tap lines, house brewed brews ( and Rootbeer / Cream Soda ) to a full menu with made from scratch recipes, a full liquor rail, and 160+ seats, we’ve got something for everyone. Summer we have deck / outdoor seating. In Winter we have a warm fireplace, and decor like you wouldn’t believe. Flags fly high around the restaurant, and we have a terrific crew. Owner Sean Dempsey Is a member of the US Pizza Team, and has won multiple awards with his pizzas. Cheers!

Perfect quick bite and best place to spend quality time with family or friends!
Dempseys is always a go to spot when we have guests visit in town and they ask for a classic watertown gem. When we are craving a solid craft beer we go here and my go to is the battle axe blonde and my husband loves the letterkenny or Scottie. The best onion rings and spinach artichoke dip in town are here for sure! Plus they always bring their A game to the annual burger battle and st pattys day bar crawl. Shout out to owners for always hosting fundraisers for humane society and giving out pizzas to local youth through reading program. Also, big thanks to Sean for letting me try the carrot cake cheesecake early. Be sure to go and grab a slice as soon as it hits the menu!

Excellent bar and restaurant with Scottish-Irish theme and lots of seating! Fun decor with modern Scottish and Irish sports teams, Hobbit and fantasy lore decor, vintage tartans and flags–there was so much to look at. Bar is huge, classic, lots of brewery beers to chose from and old favorites. Lots of seating inside, limited outside. ADA accessible. On the street parking. Clean, big restrooms. Menu has so many choices–being from out of town, I chose the chislic which was great–the pieces were bite sized.

Cool restaurant and brewery in Watertown. We sat at the bar. Their beer was only ok although I did enjoy the Black Bear Stout. We both had the “burger battle” burgers and they were fantastic. My wife opted on the less spicy version while I ordered the spicy version. Both were good and very large. The burgers were served with curly fries.

As much as I try to like this place. Everytime I order, they screw it up. I always have to call and say hey…you forgot this or that. If I order pick up or curbside, the order is never ready by the time they say, and if it is …the food has been sitting and its cold. Its really a shame because they have good food. The delivery , service, and presentation is a joke. Im done going to Dempseys and Iwill never go back. They burned me to many times.

Pizza of the week, every week. Never a disappointment and in house brews. Friendly service and fun atmosphere. I’ve been coming here pretty consistently the last couple years and I can’t say I have a favorite pizza as every one is it’s own flavor. I will say I’ve never had a better spinach artichoke dip and I try every one I come across. Nothing beats it.

I was very intrigued by everything to look at. This place has a unique vibe and a ton of stuff to look at. The hotel I stayed at recommended this place and said it had award winning pizza.
We both enjoyed our food, but would categorize everything good, but not great. The Jambalaya soup had really good flavor.
Our server was very friendly and attentive. The hostess didn’t seem too excited to be there.
All and all a good place to check out.

My son came in to order a pizza and explained they wanted a Saskatoon pizza. They were given a breakfast pizza. I called wanting to exchange the pizza for the correct order. They said that they had asked twice if order was correct which is not true and refused to correct the order. If they can’t get the order right and the customer is willing to be bring back the whole pizza in exchange for the correct pizza that is just poor customer service.Not to mention the burgers were undercooked and didn’t come with the toppings requested. I guess if your not there for the alcohol getting an order correct is an inconvenience, and to have the incorrect order corrected is just non existent!
