We had ribs and a turkey and brisket sandwich. It was so good. The ribs were unbelievably good. French fries are good. The smoke turkey was my favorite thing. I like their sauce and if they could serve 8 pieces of toast with their ribs, we probably would have eaten them haha. It’s a little far out of kansas city, but still worth the trip.

Tried a little bit of the menu. Pretty spacious inside we weren’t to close to our neighbors. We had no idea what to order so it took us some time to look over the menu, our server Phonex was awesome! She was super friendly and patient with us. Even recommended we try the fries with burnt ends and they did not disappoint! Perfect place to sit and chat for hours while you enjoy some good ol BBQ!

Great food, great atmosphere, great customer service. We parked behind the restaurant to charge our car at the EV station. When we walked in there were no other customers and the staff were sitting at a table, folding silverware. We were greeted immediately and told we can sit anywhere. I ordered the chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese and baked beans. The food tasted great and the service was fast! We got our food within minutes of ordering. I’m surprised there aren’t other customers here, but it is a small town. The overall price is also very reasonable, in my opinion.

We stopped in for lunch while passing through town. We got a hot ham and cheese, grilled cheese and a pulled pork sandwich with fries. I could immediately tell the fries were home made! Our food was really good and our server (McKinley?) was prompt and super friendly. It was a great stop for us!

I don’t usually give negative reviews, but this is deemed worth it. I ordered a ribs and brisket combo to go and only received 4 rib bones, which I would have been okay with that because I love ribs, …… but the ribs were overdone and had zero flavor. It also came with two sides which there was nothing to them in little styrofoam cups with lids The lady waited on three tables before she even acknowledged me. I Have eaten there years ago but don’t remember the service or the food being this bad. I would just stay away and wait till you get further down the road to buy some barbecue that’s worth it.
I gave it 2 stars because a Stealth Bomber flew over the top when I was leaving. Definitely a 1 star experience.
Update: This is a real review, not sure what the owner is talking about I ordered a combo but only received ribs no brisket that was the point. The lady that helped me was attending tables when I arrived. I was not offered a greeting, then another couple came in, which she promptly seated them and then helped another table that already had food before even acknowledging me. The fact owner tries to make you look like a fool and doesn’t offer a solution is just another reason to stay away. As I do agree with him the first time I was here (years ago) I did not have the same experience but this is not about my first visit. Changing this review from 2 stars to 1 for the remarks of a owner that offers no sincere apology only to say this is a fake review thats fabricated. He needs to appreciate a customers reviews and not try to make them look as if they made it up and wasn’t real. Maybe offer solutions instead of negative remarks.

Friendly staff and quick service. The smoked cream cheese was our app. I wish it were more smoked and would even suggest baking it….but it was OK.
We had the pulled pork, brisket, broccoli and cheese, potato salad, fries and cottage cheese….all delicious! The mild and hot BBQ were both wonderful!

Delicious BBQ and friendly staff! Our waitress was helpful and very pleasant. Both mild and hot BBQ sauces were good – the hot wasn’t very spicy though. My husband and I both enjoyed the Brisket even though it was fairly salty. Would definitely stop by again.

Had a hankering for some BBQ while traveling from Virginia to Colorado. Stopped here and wasn’t too disappointed. The place is a bit dated and dark, but the food was really good and the service was too. Seemed to be a favorite with Locals. The Sampler Platter was pretty generous. Ribs (two) weren’t as meaty as most I’ve had. Except the chicken was a bit bland. Would still recommend the platter though. Speaking of bland, so was the Mac & Cheese…pretty flavorless. Wasn’t the case with everything else though. Very good. Not the best BBQ I’ve ever had, but good for the price. Only bottled beer options and pretty limited. Mostly basic domestics. Tried the Boulevard (Wheat) and it complimented the food pretty well. Wouldn’t go out of my way to get here, but if in the area I would stop again.

I ordered a full rack of ribs, French fries and beans. Deb was still out in the van when I ordered. Deb came in and sat with me as the server brought us our food boxed to go, a little confusion when I ordered at the counter, not sitting at a table.
She brought us some plates and we ate inside, but we still took about 2/3s of the meal to go with us.
All the food in the photos was one order of ribs! It came in three boxes!
The service was great, and the food was great too!
The fries and beans were good, but the ribs were the star of the meal! They were cooked just right, great taste, very meaty and just the right amount of fat to make them some of the best ribs I have eaten.
We will definitely visit again if we are in the area!

Excellent BBQ! It is some of the best that I have had. The sampler came with brisket, pulled pork, 1 rib, chicken, two sides, and Texas toast. All the meats had excellent flavor, great smokiness (but not overpowering), and they were tender and juicy. The ribs had a good bit of meat on them, and they were practically fall-of-the-bone. The baked beans were very good, and the fries were homemade. They were cooked perfectly and not oversalted. Service was fast and friendly. I would highly recommend giving them your business if you are ever in Concordia, MO! Thanks for an excellent meal!
