Dempsey Bakery has my whole heart. Not only are they a certified gluten‑free bakery (a total lifesaver for someone like me), but they somehow manage to make every cake feel like a work of art and a hug at the same time.
I ordered my “Drama Queen Since 1994” birthday cake from them and oh my gosh… it was iconic.✨ Sabrina was incredible to work with—so kind, so patient, and honestly just as excited about my cake as I was. She took my little idea and turned it into something even better than I pictured, down to every detail.
When I picked it up, I actually got teary because it wasn’t just a cake… it felt like they had baked joy straight into it. And the taste? Let’s just say no one believed it was gluten‑free. All of us were raving.

This is my friend’s favorite shop, so she brought me here. The store is very bright and clean. All the bakery items are delicious. However, the cashier when I went there was very unfriendly and gave me a rude response.

Great selection of gluten free baked goods. They are a totally gluten free bakery. No regular flour products at all. Be prepared to pay a lot. They ain’t cheap. I can’t comment on the taste as we bought for someone else. Update: the taste reviews have come in and the quality and flavor is outstanding. Lava cake, bread and chocolate chip cookies received rave reviews.

Love that this is an entirely gluten free bakery. Will be back because I am in the area and need what they offer. However the staff at the front counter were not very friendly. Made it to where I did wonder if I should come back again even though I need what they are selling I don’t really like it when the staff acts like they hate it that you are there

Great place to stop for people who need gluten free food(and even got those who don’t). My family who doesn’t need to eat gluten free all enjoyed the food as well. We had cookies, breads, cheesecake, and cheese crackers. We wanted to try the deli sandwiches but they’re not available throughout the afternoon (which seems odd). The prices are higher than non gluten free food but it is nice knowing you can have anything in the store without having to worry about cross contamination. I would return if in the area again.

First: staff and owner were attentive and friendly people! It was plain to see they really cared for each customer they spoke with.
Second: our lunch of turkey melts and chips were top tier, the gluten free bread was incredible. My wife has celiac, and it was comforting to just be able to walk in, order food, and trust she wouldn’t get sick. I’d give 10 stars just for that
Third: they have so many delicious options it was hard not to buy one of everything available.

This bakery is located downtown however parking is easy at this location . They are gluten, soy, wheat , and nut free .
I got tried the Jai Cookie sandwich which is also egg and dairy free. It was delicious I almost ate the entire thing in one go ! I also got the Cornbread Mix which was easy to make .They have desserts , lunch , and frozens.
They take their restrictions seriously so if you’re sensitive the gluten I recommend going here.Some things have dairy(some do not) , etc however the website is detailed so if you need to double check what ingredients are used for each item checking it is easy .
The prices are a bit higher than your average but very much worth it!
10/10 would recommend .

LR- There is so much to love about this place! My favorite thing is letting my Guard down knowing nothing is off limits here! My club sandwich was delicious! While I was there, I picked up some birthday confetti cheesecakes for my daughter’s 20th birthday and they were a hit! It was so good to talk with Mrs. Paula. Update to my previous review – I have tried several items and love them all. What fun it is to actually go in somewhere and order – off the menu!!! And not be scared. Best biscuit and gravy mixes I have ever had- could not find good substitute until now. So good. Love the pumpkin bread! Best bun – hamburger bun I have had. Bought 2pkgs today. Blueberry cheesecake amazing. Trying cinnamon rolls next (can buy just 1) lots of choices and ways to buy single servings. Turkey melt was so good!
