Founded in 1979 by 19-year-old Demosthenes Demo Karagas, Demo’s Greek Food started in Castle Hills, San Antonio, with a vision to share authentic Greek flavors. The restaurant quickly became a local favorite, with Demo’s mother, Lucille Karagas, a first-generation Greek American, playing a key role in the restaurant’s development. The family’s commitment to excellence, inspired by Lucille’s mother, Victoria Eugenides, whose recipes were renowned for their authenticity, is at the heart of Demo’s success. Today, Demo’s Greek Food proudly serves delicious, traditional Greek dishes, with two additional locations and a loyal customer base, carrying on the legacy of great food and family tradition.
Traditional Greek dishes such as souvlaki & pita sandwiches served in a laid-back setting.

Demo’s does not disappoint! I was craving Greek food, I was in the area, and remember this location. The staff was friendly, our food was ready faster than I expected. The fries were nice and hot and the gyro had plenty of tzatziki, other places give very little and then charge extra for more. Plus the food tasted great.
The restaurant was clean as well as the bathroom.

I didn’t catch his name, but he had glasses and is training to be a cop, he was wonderful! Super helpful for ordering. I haven’t had Greek before so I was slightly nervous but he made it very easy for me to order what I would like! All staff was friendly. Would recommend!

Very friendly service in a clean establishment. The menu was easy to read, with plenty of options. Our orders came out in a timely manner and looked awesome! The food was freshly made. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the falafel was good and hot. The tzatziki sauce was delicious…glad we ordered extra! I didn’t get a pic of the fries, but they were fresh cut in-house and came out hot and crispy. We were very happy with our experience!

I haven’t been here in a good minute. But, let me tell you the flavor was just as good as i remembered it. Always a clean restaurant and clean bathrooms. Very friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of parking. The food was a combination plate, chicken. It was so delicious. I love pita bread! $50 for 2 people

Delicious food and very friendly staff! I got an original gyro wrap and it was SO. GOOD. Everything tasted clean and fresh. The fries were hot and actually tasted like potatoes. Overall, this place is awesome and I’ll definitely be going back!!

First time here, it’s an OK place. Lots of workers in front, no greeting. It’s like subways, but Mediterranean. (Harsh, I know)
Experience was barely a ‘C’ grade. We walked in and no one bothered to assist. Not good for business.
Restrooms were uncleaned, tables were un cleaned (hard to fine a clean table). Parking was OK. Free refiles, and the food was OK. Never seen black fries (clean out the grease). High price for ok food. Overall Experience ok.
