Great Sunday brunch spot! Located on the southwest corner of 7 Mile & Telegraph with a gated parking lot and nice looking patio (it was cold when I went).

I visited this establishment tonight Friday, December 5, 2025, for the first time after work. I just bought a house in the area about two months ago and saw Demi’s in passing and wondered if this may be a place I would like to frequent. Well to my surprise, pleasantly so, it is! I got there just before Happy Hour ended. There was no cover charge which is a plus. I was dressed in blue sweat pants and a zip up hoodie wearing a Detroit Lions Amon-Ra St Brown jersey and blue and black Nike’s. It was a casual, comfortable and smooth atmosphere. The crowd was grown and sexy and definitely mature. After approaching the bar I was met by a gentleman who greeted me and asked how I was doing. We exchanged greetings. I told him I was new to the neighborhood and checking out places in the area. I introduced myself and he said his name was Donald. He was a cool guy. After a brief chat he had to attend to some business. I didn’t know at the time but found out after he had left that he was the Owner. Imagine that. A down to earth proprietor who didn’t use his establishment in a way to make himself look better than others. Big ups to him. Shortly after, I got the attention of Vas. She was busy behind the bar getting things in order, and multitasking. She was patient with me and my slow to order what I wanted. I’m thankful she was patient with me. She had a demeanor of being a no nonsense woman. She was about her business professionally so. Big ups to her as well. NOW! for the real highlight of this story, they had and have a live band every Friday that begins playing around 7:30. The name of the band is JUST VIBE. and they did justice to the name JUST VIBE, because they did that. They played some R&B songs, and jazz tunes. Greg was like the MC but also the lead vocalist. The band consisted also of in no particular order, Dave on bass guitar; Butta on drums; Rick on electric guitar; brotha Malcolm on vocals; and Cue on French horn, I think. Whatever type of horn it was he blew that mutha. Uh I’ll use no curse words but you know what I mean. I stayed for the first set but had to leave before the second set because I’m also a 18 wheeler truck driver an have to get up early. However, I’m going to make it my business to go back to Demi’s next Friday, and maybe the Friday after next. You see what I did with that? Nevermind, lol. Oh before I end this review, Donald told me initially that there is also a pool table on the lower level as well as a cigar smoking area. I don’t smoke but I know my way around a pool table a little bit. If that doesn’t intice you to go, you may just want to have something for you and your date, or however many number of your friends, to eat on the upper level dining area.
I’m telling you all Demi’s is the place to go if you want to have an enjoyable and memorable time. I did and plan to have many more. Oh and bring a little extra cash if you can to bless the band. They are definitely worth it. There are other events on other days here but if you want to know what they are I suggest you google them. Ok here’s one more. You might see me there on taco Tuesdays. Friday night done right at Demi’s Restaurant & Bar, hanging out and catching The Just Vibin’ Band featuring Greg Robinson. They brought a whole host of grooving R&B tunes that set the mood just right. Nothing like good live music, a relaxed atmosphere, and letting the week wind down on a high note. Last Tuesday, February 3rd, my friend and I went to Demi for Taco Tuesday around 6:30pm and it was so freaking cold we and several people had to keep our coats on. There was NO heat period. It was warmer outside. We were told the Manager was notified. However, the next day I got sick and my friend was trying to get sick but she didn’t. No working establishments should be that cold in the inside period. So cold we couldn’t enjoy our food. I won’t return until the weather gets warmer.

Demis is my Absolute Favorite Bar/Restaurant! I celebrated my 49th birthday there last January, n I had a blast. The owner and his staff took great care of me and my guest. The owner Donald is Super Cool! His staff are all friendly, cool, and very attentive, and they serve the best Strongest Drinks. I have a good relationship with all the bar tenders and the Dj Shannon. I would definitely recommend everyone to come out to this bar. My coworkers and I meet up every Wednesday for Karaoke and have a Blast. It’s safe, clean, and the Food and Drinks are Amazing! Come Support my good friend Donald and his Staff. ❤️.

Wednesdays are karaoke night, so the music is blaring! It’s definitely not a place to try and have a conversation, but the food was great! I had the cajun chicken alfredo and WOW! Was it delicious and HUGE! I’ve definitely got my lunch for tomorrow planned. The others at the table got the salmon and risotto, and they both really enjoyed their food as well. Both of them are from Italy, and one said it was the best American risotto he’s had so far! Now THAT’S a pretty solid compliment

The food was a bit pricey for what you get. This place serves typical bar food at a high price. From the reviews I thought it would be amazing but my experience was not worth the visit. The service was ok, I had one waiter that didn’t even want to give me the wifi code and another that was the complete opposite and very helpful. I ordered a drink from the happy hour menu and it was very small but very potent; my type of drink.

They have the best Lamb chops ever! The Sunday brunch was just ok nothing I will hurry back to but did I mention the lamb chops I’ll go on Tuesday for those they are 2.00 a piece every Tuesday the drinks are nice and strong and I will definitely go back for drinks if nothing else oh how about drinks and lamb chops sounds perfect to me! ******Update***** went here again on 10/23
Ok my daughter and I just left here, they have 2.99 Lamb Chops on Tuesdays and at Happ Houry 5.00 drinks on certain ones. Let’s start with the Lamb Chops these this time around were just ok, before when I had them it was for lunch and on a different day so maybe that makes a difference idk. However, the chimichurri sauce that you can ask for to go with the Lamb Chops is amazing. My daughter had 4 lamb chops and a baked potato and Mac and Cheese, I tasted the Mac and cheese it was the most horrible Mac and cheese I had in a long time like I couldn’t believe they would sell something like that this wasn’t fair! I never seen black folks make Mac and cheese like that, I mean we expected better! Somebody had mixed bread crumbs in it itwas gritty and looked like they tried to loosen it up with maybe somr water then microwave it. I’m sorry I do reviews all the time I do them and tell the truth whether good or bad I keep it real, it was horrible and my daughter should not have had to pay for that. I had 3 Lamb chop and Cajun Pasta my pasta was good I just wish it had been hotter. I ordered a Purple Rain drink and from my experience it should be purple mines looked and tasted like rum and coke not to mention that the young lady who brought it out(not our waitress) wasted drink on the table a little on my purse on the floor so I’m tripping because from the time we sat down it was confusion, my waitress is new then another waitress comes to do what the new waitress had already done the new waitress don’t know the menu so we had to keep repeating ourselves and showing her the menu then she came back 3 times asking us about our order I felt like we were in twilight zone BUT when the order came out it was correct so I’ll give her that and she was nice though. I been here not on a Tuesday 2 other times and didn’t go through this. I understand about being new so she gets a pass but that Mac and cheese don’t get a pass because now a days who is messing up Mac and cheese! 27.00 later I’m disappointed still hungry because my pasta wasn’t hot so I had to box it to go so I guess I better microwave and it eat it. Demi’s y’all gotta do better on that Mac and Cheese. Sorry I really don’t think we will be back though I kinda feel like some of things there are overpriced for what you get and I’m use to paying those prices for food but you get more food for it and the quality is better but those Lamb Chops we’re on point though and priced right.
