Should’ve listen to the reviews that said it wasn’t authentic and portions are small, exactly what we got. First time trying this place and it was so disappointing. I ordered the broken rice with pork/egg roll combo. It was tasteless. Did not get the “thick authentic sauce”. My husband had to add seasonings and an egg to be able to be eaten. Sauce served for eggroll didn’t have flavor and was given so little it was laughable. The shrimp app was ok. The only thing that had flavor was my husband’s dish, spicy lemongrass meat combo soup. Now, it had flavor because of the broth, and the cilantro and lime but meatballs had no flavor and steak was not rare, it was RAW! Like they took it out of the package and put it on the plate raw. He said the service inside was great but that’s about it. So, no, I do not recommend.

Tried Demi’s Noodle House for the first time. We were a little reluctant because of some of the reviews. I had the chicken noodle soup and it was excellent. Lots of noodles, great flavor. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. I will definitely go back.

Demi’s can really rock the vegetarian adaptations of traditional Vietnamese cuisine. I was very curious if vegan pho could taste anywhere near as good as traditional pho made with beef bones. Answer is YES! I loved how it still was rich in flavor and tasted so fresh and bright. Served with tofu cubes and seitan for protein. They take the time to prep their ingredients well, as I noticed the snow pea ends were actually trimmed off. Many other reviews mention small portion sizes, but mine was perfect for me to not take any leftovers home but leave perfectly full. Definitely coming back again!

This was sooooo horrible, my coworkers and i sat for 30 minutes before getting served, finally when we got service, we placed a order that took up our whole entire lunch period and only for the food to be over priced for theeee smallest portion in the workd to receive. I would not recommend this place for anyone to eat in because they are not afraid to rip you off for your money. This is the combo fried noodle plate that is priced at 15.00 but as you can see there is so much room on the plate where more food could have been placed but this is what you get. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I EVER GO HERE AGAIN NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND ANYONE EAT HERE

It’s just ok. A mish mosh of a lot of different Asian cuisines. Not authentic by any means but not bad food. The inside is nicely decorated. Understaffed in terms of servers- young teenagers who aren’t always on top of their tables. But there’s not much in the way of ethnic food in Palmetto so at least it’s something different.

Fried rice for lunch and it was chopped up fried old chicken wing with no meat in it just dried up skin. It had maybe three pieces of green onion, a dab of egg and there was no flavor and I’m glad that I asked for soy sauce and sweet-and-sour or duck sauce.

Food was delicious & our server gave excellent suggestions on food options! My 4 year old daughter loved her Chicken Ramen & ate the whole bowl. My husband and I shared the pork spring rolls for an appetizer & both had the highly recommended pork ramen soup. They also had Nigori Sake (Our favorite Sake) We will definitely be back!

We had an odd experience there and won’t be back. Before ordering, we asked the server to explain the difference between the regular stir fry dishes and the Vietnamese specialty sautes. He said the specialty dishes had a heavier sauce. My husband said he doesn’t like spicy dishes and wanted to know if they were spicy. The server said the coconut dishes would be sweet, and the lemongrass dishes would be aromatic. They wouldn’t be spicy. My husband ordered the coconut chicken stir fry with no spice (neutral as the server said). When the dish was served, my husband took one bite and said it was spicy. We checked with the server who looked at his notes and said the dish was neutral. He said that eating the pickled carrots with it would ”mitigate” the spice. He also said he’d bring out some bean sprouts to “mitigate” the spice. My husband tried a couple more bites with those and still thought the dish was spicy. I then tasted the food and agreed that it was spicy (and I generally eat spicy foods). We call the server over again, and my husband told the server he couldn’t eat the dish and wanted to order something else even if we had to pay for it. The server took his order for the stir fry combo (no spice or neutral) and went into the kitchen. He came back a couple minutes later and said, “The chef advised me that we will charge you for both orders and we are packing up your order to take home.” At first, I was confused thinking that his second order was being prepared for take out, but then I realized he was talking about the food we thought was spicy. The impression we were left with was that the problem was my husband didn’t like the food and not that the food was too spicy for him. On the ride home, all four of us said the experience soured us on Demi’s. The food is good but not exceptional and certainly not worth the attitude of the staff. A simple, “We’re sorry you didn’t like the dish” would have been nice.
