The BEST Italian deli around. WAY better then the other Italian deli that hasn’t been around as long ( not gonna even mention the name). The food at Demarcos is ALWAYS fresh, they have a great variety, and the staff are all wonderful and sweet. Hands down the BEST Italian bread and fresh mozzarella around! When I was younger I could remember getting fresh garlic sticks ( they no longer have those kind anymore though), and going there with my dad, he would get 3 loaves of Italian bread; one for us on the way home, one for my aunt (his twin) we always stop by on the way home and one for the house.

Living in the area since 1995 and while DeMarco’s has always been the best place to get Italian Bread I had never catered. Last weekend I catered my husband’s 60th birthday party at our home and I could not have been more pleased. Eugene guided me through what to order for 50 guests. Every single item was a delectable joy. Fried Ravioli, Buffalo Chicken Wings, Thai Chicken Spring Rolls, Veal Scallopine, Shrimp Fra Diablo, Eggplant Rollatini, Broccoli Rabe & Sausage, and Penne with Prosciutto in a Tomato Cream sauce, so yummy. Special nod to the minj Beef Wellington appetizers I accidently froze and forgot to serve till Monday, they were incredible. I’m a super satisfied customer and actually enjoyed my party for the first time (since I usually cook myself). Thanks Eugene and the DeMarco’s staff for preparing such amazing food!

DeMarco’s has been a local favorite for 50 years, and it’s easy to see why! This family-owned Italian market truly does it all — and does it well.
They have a legendary deli counter loaded with subs, wraps, cheeses, soups, sauces, and their famous fresh-baked bread. The butcher counter is top-notch — and you’ve got to try the chicken cutlets, they’re some of the best around.
Their fresh mozzarella is made daily, and the baked goods (bread, pastries, cookies) are always fresh and impossible to resist.
Do yourself a favor and try the pasta carbonara balls – *chef’s kiss!
They even have a well-stocked pantry section with all the Italian essentials — from jars of their own house-made sauce to Antonio’s pasta and more. You can even grab Nasto’s ice cream for dessert!
One of my favorite things about DeMarco’s is their family dinners, which feed 4–6 people and make weeknights so much easier. I tried the Sunday Sauce Family Dinner and it absolutely did not disappoint — hearty, homemade, and full of that comforting Italian flavor.
And if you’re hosting a gathering or event, their catering menu is enormous — seriously one of the biggest and most impressive I’ve ever seen. Whatever you need, they’ve got it covered.

i worked her for a few years 25 years ago and they had the best bread i had ever tasted then on top of being great ppl in general. i stopped in there today…..for the first time in 15 years and….. STILL the best bread i’ve ever tasted…my daughter was ooohing and ahhhing at how absolutely perfect it was. louie ….never change whatever you do with this bread pls!!!

De Marcos has the best food around, the food is fantastic, great value, and staff is very professional. Eugene De Marco goes above and beyond for his customers. If you need catering needs that is the place to go, every year I cater to NJSP Holmdel barracks letting them know I appreciate their service. They have told me the food was Fantastic and truly appreciated it. De Marcos has the best meats, cheeses, soups etc. So I highly recommend going to De Marcos for your needs and especially catering.

De Marco’s is the best. We are a large family with some great cooks but many times we like to relax and order De Marco’s catering as we did this Easter. This Easter we ordered the package that included Penne Vodka, Stuffed Shells, Chicken Francaise, Stuffed Mushrooms, Rolled Eggplant and (3) loaves of the best bread on earth. The food was absolutely delicious It feed not only the (18) people advertised but all of the food my children brought home. MY wife and I have been buying from De Marco’s from day one, yes 1975. We got to know the owners we know the staff such a pleasure to visit there.
