This is a decent little Japanese spot in downtown Provo. The staff were friendly and the food was relatively quick, but the highlight was the cooked food. The gyoza was by far the best tasting dish, but there are better options for sushi in the Provo area. The Katsu pork was also quite delicious and I would eat that again, but the house salad and miso soup tasted off as well. Still a good experience!

We were seated quickly and the server was kind. I had the crispy sushi roll as well as a noodle soup. The food was pretty good and the price was great. I came on Thursday were they have a deal for 5 dollar sushi rolls. Nice interior decor.

Very friendly service. Decent decor. However the food was horrendous. The sushi rice in my Vegas roll was like paste. They put broccoli in my seafood udon! The broth in the udon was just bland chicken broth. Very disappointing. I feel bad for them.

Clean restaurant with quick, friendly service. We loved the authentic decor. Their sushi was decent, but the miso soup was definitely the highlight of our meal. Absolutely delicious! I’ll be back for more!

I feel like this place doesn’t get enough attention and it’s really good. it’s on the more traditional style of Japanese food and the flavors are a bit more low-key but not less delicious. the food is fresh, well cooked and really delicious, without the overpowering flavors sometimes used in Americanized-Japanese food. additionally, the staff is friendly, helpful and on top of things. I hope you give this place a try.

I’m not often downtown but when I am, stopping here is a must. They have agedashi tofu. That is my jam and it is perfect every time. I’ve not found many places that serve it and some that do could do better. Demae gets it right!

Years ago this was my go to place for Japanese food. It changed owners and we stopped going. I think it’s newer owners in there now We thought we’d give it another go since it’s been so long. At first we were concerned cause it was Saturday night at 6 and it was empty. By the time we got our food the place had filled up a bit though. Now the important part. The food was pretty dang good. I had Katsu Curry and my wife had the teriyaki chicken. We both loved our food. We’re planning a return trip for their donburi.
