I visited Deluxe Social House on a weeknight as part of group of 4. We walked right in and were given free reign for seating. We chose the back patio and were able to enjoy the entire space on our own! The service was wonderful and the ambience was lovely.
We ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich (with Bacon and Grilled Peach, Pork Chops and Mashed Potatoes, Salmon and Mashed Potatoes.
The chicken was bland and there wasn’t much flavor from the peach or cheese at all. The bacon was good and was the redemptive part of the sandwich. The prime rib sandwich was better, but we did add some steak sauce to compete with the dryness. The winners were the pork chop, salmon and mashed potatoes.

The entrance and decor felt like we were underdressed. Very classy and sharp. The waitress proved that not be the case. She was super casual. The food however, was phenomenal! The lamb chops were thin and only 5 on the plate but perfectly cooked. Shrimp cocktail was perfect and the sauce was 10/10! The burger though was absolutely phenomenal!!! Someone at your table MUST get the burger. Chargrilled perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. The beef was awesome. The veggies that are supposed to be cold- lettuce, tomato & onion were actually crispy and cold. The warm brioche bun with the smoked tomato mayo- wowww- wash your hands before you.go cause if you drop some on your fingers you will definitely want to lick it off! Not kidding. And the Pommes Frites with Truffle Oil, Parmesan, Parsley weren’t overly seasoned and perfect. Will definitely go back.

This was our third visit to the Deluxe. Food was perfect. The wedge salad was the best I’ve ever had anywhere!. The good sized burger was cooked perfectly. The french fries were out of this world & my husband loved his pork taco. On previous visits we’ve enjoyed the lamb and the crabcakes. The specialty drinks look delicious. It’s a beautiful place with a lovely bar. Give the Deluxe a try!

My husband and I booked a reservation for a date night. We saw that they had great reviews and food looked amazing. It seemed to be a fine dining with a casual atmosphere. So my husband and I dressed casually for our date night. Upon arrival it was empty maybe three other patrons were present. The waitress led us to our booth. The only thing I really liked about the decor was the tear drop lights that were hanging.
My husband and I ordered our drinks, and placed our appetizer which was the trout dip. My husbands back was to the bar and I had the view of the bar. Fantasy football was being played at the bar and I couldn’t tell if it was a sports bar or a great dining experience. Overall I wasn’t pleased with the fantasy football. Drinks arrived and they were not good. Pure liquor, not mixed well, and appearance was not great. We did not touch our drinks after that one sip. There was only one server and she was serving all four patrons and by the time our appetizer came out two more groups walked it.
Appetizer was okay but there definitely was no trout in our dip. It tasted like salmon which was a let down. Being from the shore I know fish and seafood and I know the difference between trout and salmon. The only thing I could think of was thank you I wasn’t allergic to salmon in that moment. The bread it came with was over cooked, hard, and burnt. I think there was potential to be great but it was such a let down.
At this point we stopped eating the appetizer and decided we weren’t going to order a meal. We’ve been sitting there for almost an hour and still haven’t been seen about ordering our main course.
We decided that we weren’t going to waste our date night being disappointed. My husband booked an 8:30pm at our favorite restaurant Posteros. We paid for our appetizer and the waitress comp’d the drinks. I felt bad for waitress and we did leave a good tip. I would say Deluxe has the potential to be better and survive with alittle work. I’m sure they have great food but drinks, appetizers and environment definitely sets the tone for future business. They need to decide what the tone is for thier restaurant whether this is a sports bar, fine dining, lounge etc! There was just too much going on at once. Maybe we’ll try again in the future! Deluxe is new and we had no idea what to expect, but the menu looked really good and we loved the vibe, so we decided to check it out.
We’re very glad we did!
We first noticed the tasteful decor and the excellent choice of music playing in the background. A very jazzy feel. A perfect start…
My partner ordered the brothy garlic and tomato mussels (served up with fresh toasted rustic bread). The bowl of mussels was fresh and plentiful~just delicious! He paired it with a nice cabernet.
I ordered two different tacos: the Mahi with cabbage & Caribbean salsa ; and the shrimp with sriracha aioli and Asian slaw. Both were delicious. I also ordered a vodka martini which was made perfectly.
We also shared a side of the brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze and the pomme frites. The brussel sprouts were nicely roasted but just a little too sweet for me (but that’s just a me thing).
The pomme frites were fresh, hot and perfectly cooked with a light seasoning of salt and parmesean. I ordered an extra side of sriracha aioli for dipping. YUM!
Pamela, the manager, was very friendly, gracious and attentive, making sure everyone in the restaurant was well taken care of.
My only regret, is that I did not order a slice of the pistachio ricotta cake!

Had dinner here the other day. Delicious food! We had the mussels for an appetizer, so hard to choose which sauce to go with went with the white wine butter sauce. It was great.
Ordered fish & chips, and the burger with bacon for our main entrees. The fries are shoe string. Everything was on par! Good quality meat, not a greasy burger. Not the cheapest, but you pay for the quality

The place was almost completely empty as expected for a Wednesday at 5:30. We sat at the bar and looked over the large drink menu. We got beers and ordered food. A little pricy but a very very delicious and well seasoned burger for me. An excellent wedge salad for my friend. Overall this is a somewhat fine dining restaurant with mid to high prices for extremely elegant and delicious food.

We have eaten here many times over the years when the name of the place was Black Rose and it was always good. But now, reimagined with its new name, Deluxe, it lives up to its new moniker in every respect. The salmon was simply outstanding. Perfectly cooked and presented in unique fashion with vegetables perched on top. The crab cakes, as my beach veteran girlfriend pointed out, were pure crab meat delicately seasoned and not pumped up with breadcrumbs. Our hostess, Mia, was delightfully cordial and knowledgeable in helping us navigate all the choices on the menu including the incredible deserts of which we chose the Cheesecake and Crème Brûlée. We both swore we will start on our more restrictive diet soon…

The food was excellent. All entrees were cooked perfectly to order. Service was great.
My only critique, I would have liked less mustard sauce with my lamb chops and more options for sides (which are sold separately) I would definitely recommend dining there and will return.

This place has the best burgers in Hendo! The ambiance is warm and inviting while also being hip and modern. The music hits just right and everything is super clean. Also, the servers are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this gem!
