Two floor restaurant with live bands playing upstairs. Downstairs is the sit down restaurant. Fried okra was fantastic. Loved the fry corn and collards. Fries were yummy. Ribs were tender. Burnt ends weren’t as burnt as expected. Brisket was dry and flavorless, not even with salt. But I guess that’s why they have the BBQ sauce bar area. Other tables were dipping their meats.

My meal was EXTRAORDINARY! Layla was soooo sweet and patient with me as a first time customer. The collard greens were seasoned perfectly and very tender. My brisket tacos were loaded and so I had to take a lot home. I took banana pudding to go and WHEW, it was awesome! The fragrance in the air was intoxicating. 10/10 Delta Blues!

WOW!! I’ve eaten at quite a few bbq spots but none of them even compare to this one! Everything was hot and fresh, my pulled pork was so tender it was falling apart! Amazing atmosphere and the staff was so polite and friendly! Will definitely be back!

I was driving north and I wanted to be sure to stop and enjoy one more plate of BBQ. I searched the area and chose Delta. The service was super friendly super nice . The bbq didn’t disappoint. The ribs were falling off the bone good and the chicken was really nice . I took it to go, it was packed to travel perfectly.

I usually DoorDash since I only live around a mile from the Abingdon location, but the food is always fresh, and I NEVER have an issue with the quality, order mixups, or how long it takes for me to receive my food. Not only is the quality of their food top-notch, the prices can’t be beat! This is my go to DoorDash restaurant when they are open! Trust me, you need to give them a try!
Their blue cheese dip with homemade potato chips is 10 times better than Ridgewood barbecue and their blue cheese dip. I should know because I just had Ridgewood bbq with their appetizer dip on Friday. I was not impressed.
Delta Blues collard greens are delicious and flavorful, mac-n-cheese is cheesy and perfect! The pulled pork and pulled chicken are both excellent choices! Their ribs are fantastic and their brisket is good also. Do not sleep on this restaurant! Worth every penny! Delicious every time!

I went there on a Saturday for lunch and got a 2 meat tray with brisket and pulled pork. They were out of the two sides I wanted, collards and baked beans, so I got Coke slaw and okra. The brisket had good flavor and a good cook, but the portion was very small (1-1/2 slices). The pulled pork was cooked properly but had no flavor, or sauce, so it needed help to give it any taste. The okra was undercooked and over breaded, and the Coke slaw was fine but nothing special. The atmosphere is nice and the staff were working hard to keep the dining area clean. I’ll try them again in hopes that they improve.
Update: I went back for dinner on a Thursday and they were out of what I wanted to eat, both the meat and sides, so I left disappointed.

Our waitress, Shelby, was excellent! Wonderful service and conversation. Took great care of our group! Food was top notch (pulled pork platter, green beans, and collard greens). I love the spicy bbq but the Memphis is also great. Excellent atmosphere and the best music in Abingdon!
