Del Rosa Pizza is hands down the best pizza on the beach. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. Whether you want a quick slice or a full pizza to share, they have you covered, and the quality is consistent across the board.
The atmosphere is exactly what you want at Johns Pass—laid-back, fun, and welcoming. I even had the chance to meet the owner, which made the experience even better. You can tell there’s real pride behind the product and the service.
A big bonus is the bar right next door, making it a perfect stop whether you’re grabbing a slice after the beach or settling in for a relaxed evening. Incredible pizza, great vibes, and an ideal location. Highly recommended—five stars without hesitation.

The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the pizza? Actually pretty good!
You can pile on as many toppings as you want, which is awesome. The waiter (an older gentleman) was absolutely adorable and even practiced his French with us haha. Last but not least, they make the pizza right in front of you which is really cool!

Pizza was great we had a supreme pizza it tasted great! Atmosphere was nice, nothing fancy but a fun little pizza joint you can eat outside, inside or at a bar in an attached room. Reason for a four star was the service. When we walked in we were not real sure what to do but followed what the signs said hanging from the ceiling. While standing there for several minutes a worker passed by us multiple times not even acknowledging us so, it leaves you wondering if we are in the right area to order our food. Finally another person comes from the pizza line to take our order and was not friendly at all. He appeared upset and couldn’t get past himself or what was going on to even make us feel welcome. Then the guy that passed us multiple times came to the register and finished taking our order and was friendly. We sat outside, they brought our food quickly and it was great! The guy that brought our pizza was super friendly as well. So definitely give this place a try and I hope your experience was better than ours during ordering! Oh try the Italian seasoning on your pizza it’s great and so are the garlic knots!

Pizza is Alright. It’s better than your average Fast Food pizza but it’s pretty Mid as far as your average pizza establishment. Redemption comes from the Garlic Knots they are really good. Would highly recommend!!!The thing that made me really just uncomfortable was the young female employee whose shorts were extremely exposing. She was a heavier set girl and had these pink spandex shorts rolled up intentionally so Far up you could see the outline of her female parts and it made me and my whole entire family just massively uncomfortable given she seemed younger as well. There also was another female employee whose boyfriend was in the restaurant sitting. and quite literally was making out with each other in front of the entire restaurant it was just strange and excessive PDA. I’m not one to care what people do or how they dress but when your employee are being so unlcassy and just ronchy it can make the entire atmosphere just make everyone feel uncomfortable especially while your eating. Just need a bit more class an professionalism in my opinion.I would not recommend bringing children here as it made me feel as if i needed to cover all of the kids eyes half the time

Perfect beach pizza joint!! Casual, chill, laid back. Excellent service. Full bar with beer, wine and spirits. Salads are fresh and served quickly. Garlic knots were hot and garlicy buttery. Cheese bread was a full half loaf and comes with marinara. Philly cheese steaks were served piping hot. The pizza is New York style and fabulous!! You can sit down in the bar and be waited on it they also have counter service. Family friendly. Lots of TVs if you want to watch a game. Prices were very reasonable. Portions were generous. Definitely recommend!!!

Gluten Free flatbread!
I just wanted to thank delosa’s Pizzeria for finally introducing a gluten-free option (I just learned about it today). I spent years making it a tradition to visit this pizzeria every time I came to Madeira Beach. When I developed a gluten intolerance, I could no longer partake of their delicious recipes.. So I would bypass the restaurant disappointed.
During today’s visit I thought I would peek at the menu for some hope.. !!!

Strange concept….order at the counter, pay and then find a seat. We asked for water…..must have come straight from a faucet as it was warm and tasted horrible. Pizza arrived rather quickly with no pizza spatula?!? We asked for one and was told there are none?!? There were kids running and screaming and neither the parents or the employees felt the need to say something. Pizza was good. There was no service to actually rate.

We loved this place! The garlic knots were a highlight of the meal. They were perfectly baked, golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside, generously tossed in garlic and herbs. Each bite was bursting with flavor, making them the perfect appetizer to share—or not!
As for the supreme pizza, it was truly a work of art. The crust was just the right thickness, crispy yet chewy, and topped with a vibrant blend of fresh vegetables, savory meats, and gooey cheese. Pizza was delicious!!!! The crust was crisp,sauce tasty, and just enough cheese and pepperonis . We were at Maderia Beach for 4 days and had their pizza twice. You can also buy a single slice instead of a whole pie 🙂
