Social Profile:

Founded by Joe Della Rose in 1944, a small tavern at the corner of Ashland and Glover in east Baltimore was the place to be. In 1961, Joe and his wife Josie, brought the same tradition to their Belair Road location. The Overlea community, in the early sixties, called for a restaurant and Joe and Josie met the challenge. In 1998, the Della Rose family turned another chapter in their history by moving their family business to The Avenue at White Marsh. As is tradition, Della Rose’s Avenue Tavern was the place to be until 2019. Now in Perry Hall, you can expect to see some familiar faces alongside a couple new members of the Della Rose’s crew!

We went on A Saturday and it wasn’t busy. I had the steak special and it was delicious. They were very considerate of my allergy, checked with the kitchen a couple times to make sure what I was eating was safe. The bartender was very accommodating. The pizza is always delicious. They have a little outside seating area in the warmer temperatures.
Update: we went back again several times -the salmon was good/ moist
-the salmon salad is great
-service continues to be great

Love this low key oasis. Been visiting Della Rose’s since the early 60’s. My dad went to their first location in the late 40’s. In Overlea, it was a very comfortable pub. Great food and music. Especially their sour beef. They moved to the Avenue in the late 90’s. Much louder, trendier and crowded. Didn’t visit much during this period. Whenever I did, it never clicked for me. In the late 2018+, they took over an abandoned Gino’s, off Honeygo. Been enjoying this location regularly. The Overlea vibe is back !
Amazing food, great location, special daily menu, with some great daily specials. Definitely has the neighborhood feel. Was there last week…still serve their homemade sour beef and dumplings. Best dumplings around.
Whenever i visit, so much history, so many memories, lots of comfort feelings all come rushing back. Even think of my dad taking me on my first visit… many, many years ago. Still think of my 7ups with cherry juice and a thin straw.
Reccommend 100%

Its been awhile since I’ve been to Della Rose’s but only because it took forever to get my husband to take off work and go. They are one of my favorite places and always visited in White Marsh and theor previous location with my brother.

Their food is always the best and the atmosphere is what I love to come for and Caitlin our server proved that point from the moment we arrived. She joked with us and
Made us laugh like we old friends .
I felt like I never left from years ago. Definitely make you feel like old friends and family. The food is amazing and the prices too. Come visit my favorite place In Perry Hall

We recently had my dad’s 65th birthday celebration at Della Rose’s and the entire event was made easy from start to finish. The staff made planning everything from menu options to space for the celebration effortless. During the celebration, staff was attentive and made sure everything was as we wanted. The food was incredible from wings (crowd favorite), sandwiches, wraps, paninis to various sides. Thank you to everyone at Della Rose’s for helping making our celebration perfect! If you are looking to have an event somewhere that works with you, makes the event effortless to host, and makes you feel like you are family, Della Rose’s is the place to do it.

We enjoyed a Thursday evening dinner. The chicken parm, pub burger and salad were delicious. The steak sandwich was soggy unfortunately. Service was good – there is also seating outside. The happy hour drinks menu is a plus, different specials each night.

My fiance brought me here while we waited to go to a party. I was not sure what to expect. She told me that this place was relocated from another location and that it’s a very popular hangout for many of the locals.

I think we even saw the owner hanging out at the bar watching football.

Very sports related. Loads of TVs.
