If you are in or near Danbury, Della Francesca is THE place to go for fine dining. The menu and service are top notch and this time of year the holiday decor should not be missed. Date night, Family dinner, or team dinner it will be memorable. There is something excellent for everyone. Our recent unique favorites include Pork or Veal Ossobuco, Pollo Burrata, Branzino Elegante and Ravioli Mando – just to name a few. The cocktail menu and appetizers are great too!

Highly Recommended. Very enjoyable mid week day evening visit for dinner. Overall meal / food quality, preparation and presentation was simply outstanding. Really enjoyed my double veal chop, and my spouse equally enjoyed the crab stuffed flounder over linguini. Service was very good, friendly, never felt rushed, timing between courses was perfect. Two servers did a very nice job maintaining dining room as well as a large private party in adjoining room. Our prior weekend visits in years past had proved to be a bit too noisy, but we definitely plan to return soon over the upcoming holiday season as the overall meal was simply outstanding.

Honestly, one of my favorite places to eat! I live in New York and still drive all the way to Connecticut just to eat here — it’s that good. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can really taste the passion that goes into every dish. The service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Every time I try something new, it never disappoints! Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates great food and genuine hospitality!

Love Della Francesca so much that I will brave the ice cold weather for their dining experience, good food and great atmosphere.

Never will we visit here again. We dine out weekly, but have never been so shocked by the check! Pleasant ambiance, ordinary food, except the deserts were subpar. Service was “barely there”; I went hunting for the waiter and found no staff in anywhere to be found when we needed to leave. They added 20% to the check for “gratuity”!! Kids meal was $25. A small glass of table wine $12, etc. Go next door to Max Prime.

My husband and I tried out Della Francesca for the first time on our Anniversary…which was risky, I know. This restaurant did not disappoint. The atmosphere was ideal for an intimate dinner yet you can still read the menu, the service was near perfection, (if anything the food came out slightly too fast which for some might be ideal), but the quality to the food was 5 stars. It is everything you hope for at an authentic Italian restaurant from the quality EVOO served with the bread, the wine they offer, to the dishes themselves. It is now one of our top 2 in the area for Italian. Don’t hesitate, just go!

We’ve been to Della countless times, it’s our family’s favorite restaurant! The food is incredible, we all have our favorite dishes that we get repeatedly. The service is impeccable, from remembering us as repeat customers to never rushing us to clear another table. It really gives it the personal touch. They also have a fun seasonal drink menu with delicious specialty drinks. Can’t recommend Della enough!

This place was great. The food was fantastic. Service was okay, nothing special (as an industry worker), I didn’t feel like it was as fancy as a $250 check for 2 people, but the food was amazing and I would definitely return.
The steak special was okay, we probably wouldn’t order it again, the Pollo Martini was amazing, the sauce and mashed was a great compliment to the dish.
I tried some table side dessert and it was probably my favorite part. Cheese cake is worth ever bite!
The lights inside make it magic when it’s dark, we sat by the windows when it was light out and didn’t really have the fine dine feeling like you do in the back but it got dark later on and the lights inside were beautiful.
If someone does have gluten allergies they have GF option listen on the menu however it doesn’t seem like it was a concern to anyone even though I did mention it to the first person who served us, and I did have to do my own digging to figure out what contained gluten. I have celiacs (roughly 15% of the population does) but I’ve realized more and more people don’t consume it and thought it would be a subjection if never thought of before. The beer on the menu didn’t match what was on tap or available, the first two things we ordered were out.
Overall! I will return!

Amazing place, really happy Danbury offers such a hidden gem to its community.
The place is very welcoming and cozy. Many decorations and beautiful frames.
The service is great, crew is very polite and explain all the details besides sharing some good tips and suggestions.
Food is great, full of flavor and prep time is really fast, took us less than 10 minutes.
A little bit pricey but expected to such a restaurant.

I had dinner with the family, 8 people, on Christmas eve 2025. Our server was rude and rushed my daughter saying he could not enter apps and return for our entre order. It must all be done together.
Our reservation was for 5pm. Our order was forced to be taken at 5:10pm. I didn’t see my server again until 7pm after signing the check. I had to walk to the bar twice for new drinks. He never served the meal or asked if we needed anything.
The excuse given was its a busy night.
I would never enter this establishment again.
