This place was great. The food was fantastic. Service was okay, nothing special (as an industry worker), I didn’t feel like it was as fancy as a $250 check for 2 people, but the food was amazing and I would definitely return.

We had a very nice dinner here one Saturday night. Service was a little off though. When we got there no one came over to seat us. We had to flag down a passing waiter who said the hostess would be by. We still waited and then sat at the bar. After a short while we were finally seated. I started with Insalata Della Casa which was fresh and tasty. Then I ordered the Vitello Calabrese which was very good, and my friend got the Vitello Sorrentino, which he said was good also. We couldn’t find our waiter to order dessert so we placed our order for blueberry crumbcake with vanilla ice cream with another waiter. That was rich but good. The prices are not cheap but the food is definately above average. Ambiance was nice too. The bruschetta with cheese is a nice light starter. My glass of red wine Montepulciano was excellent.

Thought the atmosphere was “stiff” and I did not have a relaxed feeling. I did not receive bread with dinner, I did not think about that until the table behind where I was seated received additional bread from the waiter. The server was constantly asking if everything was ok, but should have realized I did not have the bread with my meal. Overall food was limited menu and not the “classic” Italian experience I was looking for. Very overpriced, example $14 for small salad and main courses were overpriced also. Saw waitstaff smoking out on side of building as well. I have been to less expensive places where the main entree included a salad for a small charge of $3. Overall unpleasant atmosphere and experience.

My Aunt and Uncle hosted a lunch at Della Francesca for my Grandmothers service. They were amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional. They transformed their dining room for our luncheon. The restaurant was clean. The food was fresh, beautifully constructed on the plate, and ultimately delicious. Highly recommend for any function and dinner. Thank you Benny and staff for treating us with kindness during our memorial luncheon.

Starting with the positives, we felt this place offered friendly service and a desirable ambiance. Unfortunately the food and high prices made for a lack-luster experience. From start to finish we encountered a series of disappointments, beginning with my chair with the unevenly-sized legs, which I immediately swapped with another table. I gazed their choices of draft beers, and as I presented my selection to our server, he informed me the drafts were not available, so I ordered a mediocre bottled selection. My wife’s chocolate martini was very satisfying. To start, we opted for the “Sampler 1”, which consisted of 2 shrimp, 2 littleneck clams, and 2 blue-point oysters. Shrimps were below average, oysters were rubbery and fishy, and the clams were inedible. For dinner my wife ordered the gnocchi porcini and I ordered the pollo martini. My wife seemed to enjoy her gnocchi, but not enough to take home the leftovers, and my chicken tasted so badly, I exchanged it for the bistecca gorgonzola. I asked the server if the steak came topped with mushrooms, and he told me it did but would tell the chef not to include them, but of course when it came, it was loaded with them. We felt these dishes were priced exorbitantly, with the gnocchi priced at $27.00, (expensive for basically just pasta) and the steak at $46.00. We felt these were NYC prices without the quality or value. I was teetering on whether to give this place one star or two, but I decided to go with the latter, because the atmosphere and friendly service deserved some acknowledgement, but our disappointment will unlikely generate a return visit.

The food was delicious. The staff are so wonderful. I have many food allergies and when I placed my order they had no problem meeting my needs. I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant.

We didn’t t have any previous references of this restaurant. We decided to drop by and have dinner there. We had an delightful experience: the decoration is beautiful, the service is very efficient and kind , and the food was fresh and exquisite. We saved the place in Google maps to come back soon.
