Only tried the pan fried chive dumplings but they were some of the best ive ever tasted. The ratio of filling to dough was excellent and the filling had this depth to it that i usually dont get from restaurants making these. The dumplings themselves are a bit on the smaller side but I paid 3.50 for 3. I think this place is cash only, but thats pretty standard for chinatown

Great spot for low-priced, excellent quality dim sum take-out. We got a good sampling of dim sum here for under $25 while visiting San Francisco. The staff were super helpful while ordering and the menu has photos if you aren’t sure. Definitely a “cheap eats” place but the food quality isn’t cheap. There is one table in the restaurant if you absolutely can’t take it away. Great experience and tasty food, would definitely visit again on another trip to the city.

They are the best !!! I had shrimp dumplings, cilantro and shrimp dumplings, and peanut pork dumplings. It was amazing. Very tasty. I couldn’t take a picture because I gulped it down in a few seconds. It was delicious!!!!

Fairly yum dim sum in the heart of beautiful SF Chinatown. I got some Shrimp and Chive Dumplings to chow whilst on the move, pretty tasty and good portions but super oily and a full on grease fest. They tasted good, but I felt sick afterwards.

I love everything but it’s the Tasty pan fried shrimp chive dim sum that I looove! Also I love the sesame balls. I’ve been eating at this fast east in and out joint for 14 years!! Even though I no longer live in the city, i always make a stop here when im back in SF!

Food is ok. However, I will not be coming back again ever. Service is unacceptably awful. The woman behind the counter insisted on giving us cold buns rather than the hot ones that had just come out from the kitchen. Then when we asked for forks and napkins, she literally threw a fit. Unprofessional by any standard. There are way better options for dim sum out there.

This place is legit. Very affordable prices, honestly delicious dim sums as the name suggests, and kind people working behind the counter. There is one table at the back of the bakery if you want to sit down and eat there; they’ll give you soy sauce and hot pepper sauce if you choose to stay. Definitely get the fried sticky rice dimpling (#12)!

My wife and I wanted some Dim Sum, so through recommendations we came to Delicious Dim Sum for some.
The store is not big, it is a small take out joint with no place to sit inside. There was a line and it’s not a big deal as long as the food delivers.
When it came my turn I asked if they had certain items in stock. I asked for certain dim sum items that were apparently out of stock while others are available. I followed up asking more questions like, when will it be on stock again?
….no response and a mean stare. “It’s just have to wait”, she said. I was like umm…okay, maybe I will pass then. I continued to order and then when came time for the bill, due to the noise from the amount of people inside it was hard to hear her. When I questioned her about the change, she got angry and raised her voice on the total.
Jeez man. I waited on a line to deal with an angry Asian lady for? I was a little disappointed. If you can call “service”, this would be it, taking the money from the customer and communicating to them clearly? Let’s say I misheard, what’s the big deal?
The food itself was good, but it’s been a while since I had to deal with serious rude customer service. I will have to think twice the next time I’m in SF as there are plenty of dim sum places as an alternative so if you are looking for people that will treat you with decent manners, this won’t be it.
