Delicio is the home of Cincinnati’s first coal oven. Our founders sought to develop a new type of pizzeria – one with handcrafted and innovative taste-profiles, served in a fun, comfortable setting. A place where simple, honest ingredients, cooked in a traditional coal-burning oven, could be transformed into adventurous new dishes.

Starting with the atmosphere, we both really enjoyed the vibe the restaurant was giving off. The decor is a lot of rustic wood and black metals, fairly industrial look. The light is family dim and yellow so it gives a nice relax and chill vibe. You go in and you feel like you’re there to hang out and socialize. Not just grabbing a meal.
As far as food goes, we both really enjoyed the pizza! We did two personal pans (9”) so we could try multiple pizzas. We got the Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Trio but we got onions instead of mushrooms on the Trio. Both pizzas had excellent flavor! I really like their pizza sauce and then all tops seemed really fresh. Not like they’ve been cut up and sitting in a bowl all day. The only issue I had with the pizza was the dough or crust was on the chewy side. I definitely would have preferred a little more crunch but that’s nothing more than a preference. Nothing I’d hold against them for.
Overall, it was a great experience for our first time! We loved the atmosphere and the food. We can’t wait to go back!
In addition when I picked it up, the greater at the front seemed indifferent to me being there and just pointed towards the pickup area. I also didn’t get any greeting other than “what’s your name?” When picking it up and giving them my name.
If you want a place to go and hang out and drink and eat ok pizza, go here. If your looking for a really good pizza, go elsewhere.
Handful of craft beer taps, with a couple local. Friendly and efficient staff and kitchen. Park in the street and walk, as their parking lot is tight, and you can’t turn around in it.
