Creepy atmosphere, I should’ve known not to come here but I wanted to support.. I was charged 28.99 for 4 Beef tacos, but the meat inside was literally the same meat they use for the rolled tacos. It tasted like a rolled taco, just not rolled. Ugh. I got a side of sour cream, but I called plenty other taco shops Wondering how much they charge for for shredded beef tacos, and I swear each said 16.99 to 19.99. I’m just like why am I charged almost $30 for four tacos? Rolled ones at that.. just terrible. Then they acting like they don’t understand me, but I’m just like 28? That’s insane. There was literally nothing special. They tasted worse than the jack in the box tacos. So help me god.

I live around the area, and I can assure you I won’t be going to any other taco shop other than here. Cali burrito was amazing and the cashier stole my heart with her kindness. Not being dramatic either. Delicious food. Wonderful service. Ill be coming here regularly.

Very disappointed with the lack of flavor and care put into making our food. I ordered fish tacos and they were bland and nasty with a little piece of greasy fried fish, even with sauce and lime it was no good. We ordered fries and beans for our daughter and they put them in the same container so the fries were soggy pretty much as soon as we got them. My fiance said the rolled tacos were just ok not too good either, so overall not happy and will never be back to this place. I trusted the high rating that this place has so be careful everyone.

I was itching for some authentic tacos but couldn’t find a spot that really fit that criteria so I decided on this place and it was ok. Parking is tight, just like anything else in SD. But being so close to the mother land you’d think the food would be better lol. Maybe it’s just different but ehh.

Bistec Ranchero, presentation was good. The beef wasn’t fatty, seasoned just right. I liked that it was brothy too. The beans were my favorite part they tasted like my grandma’s beans. The only thing that was a miss was the rice, either you got it or you don’t. The broth of the meat definitely made up for the flavor. The gentleman that took my order was also very nice. The food was delivered directly to me and he even brought me a cup of ice (bought a canned coke) didn’t have to ask. The cherry on top was when he walked away and said, “Provecho” ….I recommend this place to any locals.

Stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Had the grilled chicken plate which had generous portions of chicken, rice and beans along with guacamole and a bit of salad. That plate hit the spot and really filled me up. The people there were so friendly and even offered me their special salsa (not on the menu) that was super good, tasty and spicy. Will definitely return to try something else next time.
