The food was delicious. My Spanish skills are muy mal but the lady spoke some English and was very helpful. They have a good menu with lots of choices. Very fair prices for the serving size.

I ordered online and drove 40 minutes each way. The menu shows Baleadas (2) for $6 with meat as a choice. I ordered 3 ($18, receipt attached), which should’ve been 6 tortillas total. Instead, I only got 2.
When I called, the lady admitted the app is misleading and said “it’s not her problem” and that she couldn’t help me. That’s unacceptable the customer shouldn’t be punished for a menu the restaurant knows is wrong.
I paid $21+ for something I didn’t receive and wasted almost 2 hours of driving. This place seriously needs to fix their online menu and take responsibility instead of brushing it off

We had the grilled tilapia plates with beans and rice and a salad on the side, corn tortillas in foil and the beef stew. It was very good and filling, had plenty of leftovers. The beef stew had everything in it; beef (could of used more beef), potatoes, corn on the cob, carrots, plantains, and a couple of other veggies, along with rice and cilantro on the side. Food is fresh and delicious. Service was shameful. Was there around 3pm today and we were the only customers there. Would ask for a drink and they would take awhile to bring it. We would go check and the server was on their phone. My friends, who spoke the language realized they were laughing at us like it was a game. We did not tip.

Came in for my birthday. My husband found a piece of sharp plastic in his seafood soup. When he told the waitress, the manager denied it was plastic and said it was a piece of the crab. Trust me crab parts don’t look like that. My husband couldn’t even finish his soup. We paid and tipped but will never return to that restaurant because it’s not the first time we left with a sour taste from that place. It would have been different if they acknowledged their mistake and apologized but that was not the case.

Tiny Tamales for a Full-Size Price
These tamales are the smallest I’ve ever seen! They should be advertised as “mini tamales.” I paid $18 for 5 tamales that were only 2.5 inches x 4 inches each. When I called to complain, the “manager,” Medina, told me they were the cheapest I’d find anywhere. I wasn’t looking for the cheapest tamales—I was looking for real, properly-sized tamales, not miniatures sold at full-size prices.
On top of the outrageous price, the flavor was seriously disappointing. The size-to-price ratio is absolutely ridiculous. It’s incredible how far some businesses will go. I will never purchase tamales here again.
Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for tamales that are worth your money.

No compren pupusas de aquí. Salen SÚPER saladas y el servicio es horrible. Ya van varias veces que me dan mal la orden y luego no se lo arreglan a uno. I called to tell them they gave me my order wrong and they told me they’d remake them but they would have to charge me and when I disagreed with that, they hung up the phone. Very unprofessional and the food isn’t good. Just save your money. The new ownership ruined this place.

Solid 4 stars! The owner I think he is, was super nice. Vegetarian burrito was delicious- mix of fresh grilled veggies, rice and freshly made tamales. Comes with fries or salsa and tortillas. Their salsa is so delicious is is freshly made with just the right mix of tomato, cilantro, and onion.. Not sure if there was pepper in it.
The smoothies and horchata are good. Pollo platter is good. Whole fish would have liked better if grilled instead of fried. Still picked it clean.
Some family members enjoyed like me and kids were much more picky. Plantanos were a hit.

I’ve come here for the past 10 years and it has always been one of my favorite Latin American restaurants in Charlotte. The owner is great, he always remembers me when he sees me. It is obvious how much he cares about his restaurant and employees. The food is always top notch, I highly recommend the Carne Asada tacos or Baleada especial. It hits every single time!
