If you are going to visit this location make sure to either park around the area or be ready for a mess of a “parking lot” since it is in an awkward spot next to a gas station.
Definitely has the food truck seating. Just a few benches if you choose to eat there.
I ordered two carnitas burritos. The one taking my order was kind. Really appreciate how they ask how many sauce cups you would like and let you serve yourself the sauce, so you actually get a full cup of sauce.
The part where I had an issue was the wait. I came in and ordered before a good amount of people IN PERSON. All I asked were for two burritos. Tell me why I waited about 30 minutes for TWO SIMPLE burritos. One was a “super” but from what I saw, it just had sour cream and avocado… so nothing special.
What I can’t understand is how 4 other people who came after me got served their food while I had to wait 30 minutes for two burritos. Someone came in and ordered after me, and got a huge order before I got my food. And when I did receive my food my carnitas came out burnt. They were hard to chew, crunchy, and overall just not cooked well.
I’ve ordered from here before and the first time, it was delicious. Second time was online, and I ordered a super but quite literally got a REGULAR burrito, not a super. So that was great. And this 3rd time is the nail in the coffin. Will not be returning again. Service in person wasn’t the best. And the person taking my order pressured me into leaving a tip before the service.
They serve very authentic Mexican food.
The horchata was solid, zero complaints. Unfortunately, there was nothing “super” about the quesadilla. This quesadilla tasted like it came from a Denny’s. I’ll admit, I had a hard time hearing the employee when I asked what came in it (it was pouring down rain and their canopy amplified the noise- plus it was busy) but I swear I heard him rattle off more than just meat and cheese. The tortilla DID taste homemade and that definitely salvaged the meal, but I was so disappointed. The fact that they forgot the salsas was the icing on the disappointment cake.
Outside of that, the service was friendly, and the facility looked nice. I’ll definitely give it another shot and I’ll update my review, I’ll just be ordering a different item…
