Came here for dinner wanted some Cuban/Puerto Rican food. First and last time. I am not from this area. Was here for business and needed to eat before heading home.
Food is on a buffet table. The food looks like it’s been sitting there for hours. None of it seemed appealing to me. But my partner wanted to try them out.
It didn’t taste like authentic Cuban/rican food. The rice tasted like the parboiled rice and was dry. The bistec encebollado was too thick and not tasty. The pork looked overly dry. My mom had the ‘brisket’ and she said it had no taste to it, it was tender, they up charged her because it was a specialty steak.
The restaurant itself looks dainty. Once you go passed the screen door to use the bathroom – looks very dirty and dingy. I felt like I was at a caserio in Puerto Rico.
The food immediately gave me moderate stomach pain and bloating. About 2 hours later I had diarrhea. Pretty sure it was from the food.
Los platanos maduros were good needless to say.
They had plenty of employees in there. They don’t really acknowledge you as you walk in. They don’t look approachable nor friendly.
I don’t recommend this place. Idk what kind of food that was or who’s cooking it.
Like I mentioned all of the food looks old and dry.
Go somewhere else…

Great tasting food! Also the prices vs. The portion sizes are amazing. I’m Puerto Rican and have been cooking and eating this food my whole life and I can honestly say their yellow rice AND their Alcapuria are the best ones I’ve had since my grandmother passed away. I also highly recommend their pernil(slow cooked pork),stewed chicken, and their chicharon(deep fried pork belly).. their Cubans are amazing as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price

Today is our last day coming here. Mi comida sabe a gloria compare this restaurant. Food tastes terrible. omg Jesus. Las empada tastes like soap. The best part of our food was the soda I was drinking. I don’t understand how this place is still open. Nothing in this restaurant tastes like Hispanic real food, and I am from Puerto Rico and feel embarrassed of the food they cook here. I also had to remind them that they forgot to cook my food after 40ms. How ridiculous is that.
They need to do some cleanings. The restaurant is dirty and disgusting.
It’s time to find a better Latino restaurant. I do not recommend this place…… By the way for the love of God turn the music down, is very disrespectful. People are trying to eat, and the music is always but always very loud.

Food was delicious and staff is very friendly. The next time I go I will take it to go instead of dine in. Went for lunch with a friend, the inside atmosphere isn’t very accommodating unless you’re there to sit at the bar. The music was loud and the videos playing with half naked women were unappetizing. Cafe con Leche was perfection.

The staff was nice…I was waited on quickly. I wanted a fish sandwich, but it was unavailable. I got alot of food in my meal…more than I could eat. I was hoping for more flavor overall. The plantains were delicious.

Just had the BEEF STEAK & ONIONS. This dish is exactly like a PAKISTANI dish called PASSANDAY. This is a picture after I ate already and as always it’s delicious. Have not been here in a long time but will change that. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING Need I say more? TELL EM BIG AL SENT YA!

I’ve had the cuban here a few times. I’ve had hundreds of Cubans from all over FL and this one is unlike any I ever had. Very thick even when pressed and loaded with meat. Get it with lettuce and tomato to cut down some of the richness of the thick cut pork. One will feed two people. $6 pitchers and 2 draft beers can’t be beat. I wasn’t so keen on the empanadas though, they were dry and when I broke them open everything just fell out onto the plate. I have not tried anything else here.
