I went there for the tigrillo, it was ok but I do not recommend it if you are craving tigrillo, it has the American cheese all over that it doesn’t taste Ecuadorian.
However I took the Bolon and encebollado to go for my bf and they were excellent.
Excellent service and atmosphere.

I came in with my family, we were a big party and the owner was on her phone while we were standing at the door way to be seated. After 5 min of standing we were finally seated and got a waiter who had no clue what the foods were. Food was ok, but throughout our whole dinner , the owner and her family were talking about a family issue and being loud , they also were playing music for the first 10 min of us being there after that the restaurant was silent. Foods were brought out at completely different times so some ate while others just watched. Don’t spend your money here , not worth it.

I went in person to the restaurant to order food for a party of 8. The space was exceedingly clean and bustling with lunchtime customers. The owner, Jessica, helped me select dishes from the Guayaquil region. The order was delivered on time to my home, and all my guests enjoyed the food so much– they raved about how delicious it was. I will definitely order again; it was a true pleasure!

ADD ON: if you were transparent with pricing, the prices would’ve been listed in the menu for the valentine special. We didn’t even think to ask since we did not think how absurd it would be. Also, please look into how a parrilla actually looks like and has. The little amount it has is what doesn’t not make it justify it.
This place is out of their mind with their pricing. We ordered a personal parrilla from the valentine menu which include an appetizer and a slice of tress leches. Also a sopa de bola and two natural juices. Total was $141. The amount of food given does not justify the price. The parrilla literally had 1 piece of chicken breast, 1 piece of pork and 1 of meat, 1 chorizo, a small portion of salad and rice Nothing big and not too small and also not the thickest cuts.

I ordered to go! Humitas were Sooo good, and they served them with real queso manabita!
The corvina fried fish was okay. But the service while I was waiting for my order to be ready was warm and very welcoming!

We really wanted to love this place. But can’t say we did. The place was really pretty, that’s it First no water was offered or served until we asked during meal. We order piña coladas. They don’t serve alcohol. They charged almost $13 dollars. Other places $8 $10 max. For some reason they put the cherry syrup in it, none of them tasted like piña coladas, they were grainy and turned pink. The waitress was very slow & taking the order I had to repeat each order in Spanish about 3x & pause as she tried to type. We noticed she had the same issues with the other 2 tables . Ordered 2 appetizers. they did not come together. Finished 1 then the other one came. Food took long and it was not busy. Nothing had salt the fish was really dry! The only plates that were ok, were the ceviche and the fish filet . Everything was served with plátanos . It was overwhelming at the end. Menu limited. The middle of all rice orders had scorched rice we don’t like “cocolon”. I didn’t want to throw out the encebollado we could have fixed it at home. I was charged for the container. I found that ridiculous. I ordered 3 waters, In addition to that we paid for the bottle waters.One bottle was still half full and it was taken no questions. The waitress was not rude but wasn’t friendly either. She took long coming back and really didn’t offer more drinks nothing. The food portion and price were ok but again no flavor. They include 18% tip which should be based on service, and customers should decide what percentage. If they feel waitress should get paid more, then increase their salary. Then they charge fee for using credit card. We also noticed there was another family next to us waited for over an hour for their food 3ppl. They complained. Another family sat down as the waitress is taking the new tables order another girl comes up interrupts her and passes the food to her to give to the family that waited for over an hour. She serves then goes back to continue taking the order then someone else comes up and interrupts her again with the rest of the food, for the other table. Honestly how hard was it for the other 2 girls to take a couple of steps and serve the table themselves and not interrupt. The waitress had trouble with the 2 other tables they kept repeating themselves. Not sure if she was just having trouble typing. Maybe just give her pen and paper? Meanwhile we were still waiting for the check. Oh they gave us tablets with the menus we couldn’t place Order but could add items to wishlist. By the time she came back to take order the tablet cleared the wish list. No point. We were really disappointed. Won’t be going back.
