Excellent spot, Chaumont is lucky to have this little gem! The service was incredible- although he was working solo, our server was still in good spirits and our food still came out in good time. Not to mention it was delicious! Highly recommend

The friendliest staff i have ever encountered. The restaurant is run by a couple who cook all the meals fresh each day. So the options on the menu change each day! Exciting and incredibly tasty food with a great warm and welcoming environment. Being a Vegan in France is hard but not at this restaurant! I wish i had found this place sooner. Can’t wait to come back! P.S. the beer is great!

Amazingly good food, super clean, nice atmosphere, and ultimately great, friendly service despite some initial hesitation with bringing kids for lunch on the weekend. Highly recommend all the dishes, everything we tried was amazing and plates licked clean.

I have never experienced something quite like this. When they change the menu everyday you know that it’s going to be good food! They don’t use a freezer which means they are always serving fresh locally produced food. It’s more than just a restaurant with great food, it’s an experience owned by a man and his family who seem to care so much about the experience of each individual customer and are genuinely beautiful people. How a place can exist like this in a small town like Chaumont I have no idea… we are lucky to have them in our city.

We saw the reviews on the internet and decided to give it a try. When we arrived the owner/chef/waiter was just opening up. We asked to see the menu and he said there isn’t one and invited us in to take a seat and he would explain. So we did. The explanation was excellent, the food changes every day, everything is fresh and is cooked to order.
We ordered some wine, the falafel for us both and the canteloupe melon stuffed with chopped/minced beef and the chicken in a savoury sauce. Everything was excellent. We eventually asked his name, Ahmed. He is a very clever chef, fusion does not always work but here it does. Give it a try, you will not regret it.

Wonderful food, with a really warm welcome. It’s not often in France that vegetarians feel spoilt for choice!

You wouldn’t expect to find a wonderful Egyptian restaurant in the heart of Chaumont – but here it is! Best falafel, gambas and moussaka we have ever had; lovely selection of natural fresh fruit drinks with optional rum added to the mix; great welcome from truly hospitable patrons; and lovely to see that so many of the clientele are well-known to the chef – if we lived near Chaumont we would be well- known in this restaurant too!
Please do eat here because you’re missing out if you don’t!
