These seriously are the best cakes I’ve ever had. Most recently I ordered a cake for my mom’s 60th birthday party out-of-state. Everyone was coming up to me asking where I got the cake cause “there’s no one around here who can make something like that.” My response was, “just wait until you taste it!” It was a chocolate cake with strawberry filling. Jennifer and her team are so consistent, making amazing cakes EVERY time.

Our family used to use Haarter’s Bakery in Milwaukee for our larger events because we loved the European rich buttercream frosting. They are no longer in existence. So, the search for the perfect buttercream frosting began for my mother’s 85th birthday party. The quest was for a frosting that was not as sickly sweet as some buttercreams. We decided to try Delicately Delicious in Cedarburg and we weren’t disappointed. Jen, the owner, was so very helpful with the design and the delivery. It’s been 15 years later, with many gorgeous birthday cakes & cupcakes in between, and we decided to use the bakery for now my mother’s 100th birthday party!!! The coordination of invites and drink menus to the design on the cake was amazing. The theme was floral as my mom loves flowers. We used cupcakes to bring in an individual flower look as well as a cake for additional fun later with the great grandchildren. It was perfect! Delicately Delicious did our wedding cake and did a wonderful job. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted amazing. We had lemon and almond poppyseed flavors with lemon and almond filings and buttercream frosting. They were able to delivery it to our venue. I can’t even tell you how many guests complimented the cake and asked where we got it from! We will definitely be repeat customers.

Our wedding was about a month ago. I really wanted a marble light blue cutting cake with gold flakes along with cupcakes. Delicately Delicious delivered exactly what I wanted and even enhanced the cake with the addition of gold at the bottom. I absolutely loved it! Guests loved the cupcakes! The red velvet cupcake was the most popular cupcake at my wedding. The cupcakes and cake were delicious!

The team at DD is so stinkin’ adorable. My mom has been ordering specialty cupcakes for birthdays, graduations, etc., for as long as I can remember. It’s the only place I want my cakes from. I don’t like frosting but they have the MOST DELICIOUS buttercream frosting they use. Jennifer was so creative when designing our cake. She seemed really excited and had a lot of good ideas! That made the experience feel extra special. She gave us some cake samples to take home which was very generous. We gave them less than a month’s turnaround time for a 150 person wedding and they didn’t even sweat it! We got a two-tier and sheet cake (based on their recommendation) of the red velvet with vanilla buttercream. I’m so glad we saved the top tier for ourselves because that cake was to die for. 11/10 will recommend to all!

10/10! Collaborated with the owner to help bring my wedding cake dreams to life! I wanted a Whole Foods Chantilly Lace (vanilla/almond frosting with berries inside) cake with lambeth piping. One of the best bakery for birthday or special occasion cakes! The buttercream frosting is always silky and the cake is always moist. The most recent cake was for my FIL’s 75th birthday celebration and he said this was THE BEST chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting he has ever had. And their always nail the custom design.

Delicately Delicious is hands down our favorite bakery! My family has been ordering cakes here for many years. Recently, Jen baked a gorgeous four layer cake with vintage piping and cherry accents for our wedding (June 2024). We had many guests approach us specifically to compliment the cake, which had a cheesecake layer and almond buttercream filling.
