These are the best tamales ever. These are my favorites. The green and red sauces are the bomb. I am from Mexico and yes these tamales are the best. Very difficult to find these deliciousness and consistency even in Mexico. Go and try them you wont regret it. I always get the chicken tamales in green sauce.

Well, time for me to look for another place to buy tamales. This is the last time I’ll be going to any Delia’s. The tamales were raw and the ones I ordered of chicken and cream cheese were mostly cream cheese. Very disappointing and I highly recommend not going there anymore.

I send this review all the way from Buffalo NY!! These are the best Tamales I’ve ever had. I get them only once a year when family comes up for Xmas. The green sauce is HOT. I love the cream cheese with Jalapeño and the spicy chicken. I look forward to this delight every year!! Thank you so much for making the best Tamales !!

Delia’s Bean Tamales are plain and simple, yet the best thing on the menu in my opinion! They taste the most like both my Grandma’s recipes combined somehow. And I’ve been living in Colorado the last ten years so, when I come visit family I buy a few dozen to freeze and take home. I’ll take a dozen of the beef and chicken for friends. Their Salsas are really good too! Always get both red and green!

Although I have bought their tamales to go for the last couple of years, this was the first time that I actually ate my order inside the restaurant. I found their service lacking. Their focus is moving product as quickly as possible, not to serve people who are eating inside. That is understandable, considering that the price of the food, whether you do take out or eat in, is the same.

Tamales are flavorful and the drive thru option was fast. The cashier/drive thru employee apologized for the wait yet he didn’t need to. Service was excellent and he was kind enough to check on me. I drove 2 hrs (terrible Pharr traffic) and the tamales were still hot/warm and so good.

The chicken and cheese tamales from here are the best!!! I would always come to this location on a Friday morning when I got paid. Very friendly staff! Also the horchata is soo delicious, the cups they serve the fountain drinks in are a very good size.

I called and spoke to the manager and didn’t want to give me any credit, unless I bring back the tamales and right away for other tamales but she said they would be the same and no refund!!! The traffic that day due to the run here in McAllen it was very busy traffic I mentioned this to her & they just told me to let them rest and they would get their form back & I told her they shouldn’t be selling tamales if their not ready!!! Very disappointing and rude customer service never returning back after coming here for years!!!!
