Reviews
First bite no meat, just eggs and hashbrowns. Second bite, one small piece of meat slips out. Curiously, I open that half of my sandwich. There is one more small piece of meat in the half. 2 small pieces in a half a sandwich.
I call in to the store and have the pleasure of of speaking with the owner. He claims he made my sandwich and assures me that he uses proper proportions. Basically doesn’t believe me, we get into an argument and he FINALLY offers me a credit.
I’m my opinion, this new management is going to drive this sandwich shop to the ground. I won’t be returning.
Community Alert for Locals and Travelers:
Don’t be misled by the glowing reviews—my recent experience at this deli was deeply disappointing. While the staff member I spoke with was polite and offered to remake my sandwich, the core issue wasn’t in the preparation, but in the quality of the ingredients themselves.he also asked that I not leave a bad review but….
The bacon was clearly pre-cooked and microwaved, the ham was shriveled and tasted old, and the hash browns somehow managed to be both mushy and overly crunchy in the worst way. Even the bread tasted stale and far from fresh.
Unfortunately, no amount of remaking could have fixed the low-quality components. Save your money and look elsewhere for a satisfying meal.
Happy food hunting and have a bless day…
Response from the owner was just as disappointing as the food.
No one yelled, was rude, or aggressive—let’s get that straight. I record all my phone calls (for situations exactly like this), and I’m happy to share the audio with anyone who wants to hear the truth. The owner trying to spin the narrative only made things worse and honestly says a lot.
After my call, he proceeded to repeatedly call and message me, begging me not to leave a review. That’s not only unprofessional—it’s harassment. I didn’t even have the option to return and have the sandwich remade, as I was stuck in traffic on I-25 and couldn’t turn around. When I initially called to explain the issue, I was either hung up on or disconnected, and then got a voicemail asking me again not to leave a review.
Let’s be clear: my review is based on facts. The food was genuinely poor quality—premade microwave bacon, old shriveled deli meat, and hash browns that were somehow both mushy and burnt at the same time.
I was trying to give honest feedback, but the way this was handled was even more disappointing than the food itself. I’ll leave it up to others to decide if they want to risk having a similar experience—but I hope this helps someone make an informed decision.
