We tried Delhis Kitchen during our visit to San Diego. We didn’t get to try most of the items, but we did have a chance to eat the samosas and some vegetarian curries. They were good—we liked the samosas. We liked them so much that we went back to get them again, but the second time they weren’t as great. They were oily, and the filling had more potatoes than usual. I’ll still give it another try the next time I visit
There is place sit and dine in but it’s more of a Togo place. So definitely don’t expect ambiance

Excellent experience overall. I ordered the 3 item platter which includes rice, naan and yogurt and a samosa on the side. The dishes were all tasty with the right level of spices. The samosa (not pictured) came with 2 chutneys. The portion size was amazing— the box was filled to the brim — good for 2 meals. Service was very good. The lady took care to wrap foil over the box so nothing spilled. It’s a smaller joint so the atmosphere was fine. Outstanding value for money. Definitely recommended.

I always get their samosas. Ended up catering 75 for a party. They were on time and they had plenty of chutney too.
“These are the best samosas. I’m going to have a second! ” – mom from Mumbai.

I’ve probably been here 15 times over the years, and every single time the food is excellent. This is the best Indian food in San Diego that I’ve ever had. It’s a hole in the wall not a super nice environment necessarily but if you want great Indian food it’s a winner!

A solid four stars for this quick-service Indian place. Good points include budget prices and generous servings of food with plenty of protein pieces. Doesn’t hit five stars because the food is not the tastiest I’ve had in San Diego. Fresh and wholesome but bland. Most people get the specials which include main dishes with salad, rice and naan bread.
Outdoor seating is available. Decor is tired but you’re not coming to a place like this for the decor. I’ll probably keep trying new Indian places than return to this one anytime soon.

I enjoyed this Indian restaurant, particularly for its North Indian and Punjabi cuisine. Their lunch and dinner combos are reasonably priced and quite satisfying. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

We ate here twice while in San Diego. It’s pretty convenient and quick if you’re ordering a combo since its already prepared and they’ll just add a warm naan with your plate. It’s not super hot but still flavorful. Staff is fairly friendly especially the aunty at the front counter is always smiling. Pretty decent pricing for the portion of combos that you get.

It’s a small family owned restaurant that serves authentic Indian food. The place was small with around 5 tables. So, it could be conveniente to order to go.
I got the lunch combo with two sides. The lady was nice and kind by offering me lentils and potatoes for vegan option. The meal was tasty and spicy. Bread was fresh baked and super soft. My husband got a samosa, some beer and meat. He definitely loved this place!

I’ve ordered 3 paratas yesterday
Potato, paneer and gobi.
How can they keep all 3 paratas in one box. When I took out the aloo parata from bottom everything got shredded and broke. How can they think of saving boxes for three orders to one box. Pathetic

Excellent place for take out. Delicious North Indian food. Ambience could be better- but food is pretty good! Have ordered take-out several times. Also recommend them for catering- excellent delivery and handling.
