A small hole-in-the-wall that can only be accessed from the alley. Went with a large group for lunch and had an opportunity to meet the owner. We ended up selling him out and he sure was grateful! The food was excellent! It took a hot minute to come out and the menu was rather small, but I’d highly recommend this place. Give it a try!

Guy was nice, but was having inventory issues. He was out of 8″ buns & birch beer and apparently peppers. Waited way too long for an extremely mid, somewhat expensive Philly with dry meat. I don’t understand why the atmosphere is rated so high at this place. It’s in an alley at the back of an abandoned bar. Overall, I’m happy to have tried it, but don’t think I’ll go back.

I just recently found out about this place and I wish I had discovered it way sooner! If you’re a fan of delicious flavor it won’t disappoint. Best steak I’ve had in Lincoln, and quite possibly the best I’ve had ever. Get the cherry peppers, your taste buds will thank you. Dave was super kind and fun to talk to as well. You can tell he’s proud of what they’re doing, and he should be.

I’ve been looking for this. I always crave a good philly and never know where to get it. Put one of these next to Pepperjax and you’ll put em out of business! The best Philly I’ve had( maybe ever). Really, really good. Meat is tender and very flavorful. The cherry peppers set it off and the cheese whiz is great with it.

A great cheesesteak starts with the right bread and the fact that Dave goes through the effort to get Amoroso rolls direct from Philly tells you all you need to know. And the meat is nice and tender too. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more proper cheesesteak than this in Nebraska
