The biscuits and gravy were very good. My My husband had biscuits and gravy with toast and eggs. I could see paying extra for the eggs but extra for the toast that goes with it… I had crepes, and then I had to pay extra for the fruit that was inside of the crepes. I have never seen this before, it’s also too bad that they don’t have a military discount. Or any type of senior discount…

If you’re ever near Delavan, WI, you really need to check this place out! It’s a dive, probably a well kept secret? I need to brag about the steak burrito that my best friend could not stop talking about after she ate it. She was highly impressed with the juiciness, and the flavors that was coming from it! I wanted something sweet and different so, I chose the stuffed French toast! I have never ordered that before but look how good it looked! Our server was the sweetest, she was on point and provided what ever it was we needed and was very nice! We are definitely going to go there again which is our plan to try something new on the menu!
Second time I did try the Super Steak Burrito after all and yes it was a winner! Best friend tried the chicken fried steak with eggs and hash browns and a side of biscuits and gravy! Look at the pictures very yummy! Service was spectacular say hello to Olga when you come in, she’s super sweet!

Our server, Tannya was great, very sweet and excellent customer service! Food was fresh and everything was really good minus my husband’s gravy on his biscuits. He didn’t like the flavor at all. I had a burger and soup of the day. Seriously fantastic.

My cousins and I(we’re from Wisconsin and Illinois)meet once a month for girls time. We decided on this diner. What a gem! When we get to yakking, there’s no telling how long we will stay. I’ve tried quite a few cafes in the Delavan area, and this one takes the icing on the cake so far! I have country fried steak (highly recommend) and 2 eggs, and it was delicious! The waitress, Linda, was very friendly and conversational, and very fast! I will definitely be coming again! If you do come, make sure you go before 3, they close at 3 just like Sun Mist Cafe (this cafe is WAY better though!)

Had lunch here, great food, decent prices & and great service what more can you ask for? I had the Reuben and my wife had the Patty Melt with fries. Both came with a choice of soup we had the cream of broccoli- all tasty and even more important in my opinion the Reuben sandwich bread was toasted perfectly and not soggy – same for the patty melt – usually Reubens are soggy and they shouldn’t be – way to go cooks you really know what you’re doing!! Visit this place you’ll be glad you did!!

After a bad experience at another restaurant, my wife and I came here for breakfast. Atmosphere was much better compared to the last place in my previous review in my history.
Place was packed but we still got seated very Waitress was very attentive to our drinks and what we ordered. Skillets were amazing and sizzling hot, flavors were great and they had hot sauce available but I felt guilty about adding hot sauce being that it felt like I was disrespecting the cook. Great food nonetheless and we got our food rather quickly. My wife is a great cook and all, and the food here was almost on par with her cooking, which speaks volumes. Food also reasonably priced.
Felt like a nice friendly place where everyone is welcome. Nothing but smiling happy faces there with staff and also other patrons. Will definitely come back, and this might end up becoming our regular spot.
Unlike that other place in Delavan that shall not be named, POC and interracial couples are definitely welcome. No stares or scowls when you walk in. Just smiles and warm friendly faces.
Also while we were there, there was a sudden delightful smell of chocolate permeating the restaurant. I’m not sure what it was, but my wife and I will definitely find out and order whatever it was next time we are there because it smelled delicious but we were too full to order any more. Definitely next time.

It didn’t look amazing from the outside, but the food was very good, and the portions were great. Plenty for the average person, for once! I’m used to having to order two things, which I did here, but I wouldn’t have had to. The service was great too. Highly recommended!
