Last night Delarosa was very busy, yet we were greeted with a warm smile at the door.
Our server was prompt, knowledgeable about the menu, and consistently attentive. Even though she was handling several tables, she remained calm, polite, and professional throughout our visit. Her food and wine suggestions were outstanding, and both the margarita pizza with burrata and the spaghetti were delicious.
This was my third visit, and every time I’ve come here I’ve enjoyed the same positive energy. It’s not just the good food and drinks that make Delarosa special, but the positive attitude and hospitality of the staff that make the place feel truly welcoming.

Every time I come to this restaurant I am always hoping to be hosted by Siew (Sue). She is sooo amazing. Her customer service is a breath of fresh air. She’s very sweet and funny! Anyone would be lucky to have her as a host. She has a calm energy and does not rush you if you are still uncertain on what to order. She is genuinely a kind person and so lovely to talk with. Thanks Siew, for your hard work and kindness! I will continue to come back and ask for you as our server.

What a great place to enjoy a lovely meal. There’s a variety of seating options, both inside and outside. The staff were friendly and attentive. The menu has a good variety of options with clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items. All of the food, including appetizers, entrees and desserts were fresh and tasty. The pizza could be a bit crisper, but it was still delicious. The tiramisu was the best I’ve had in a very long time. The only minor drawback is the acoustics, as it was hard to have a conversation with the higher noise level. Also, there is plenty of parking available in the multilevel parking lot for this shopping center.

My family and I went to Delarosa before Giants fanfest today. We were the first ones there and sat on the patio. Our server Sue was amazing. Best service we’ve gotten in a long time. The food was great as well. The bartenders special pizza was awesome, spicy and flavorful. My son loved his kids pepperoni pizza. The fritto misto was good, but a lot of peppers borderline too many imo. All in all 5 star review.

Delarosa def has a vibe! Make a reservation if you have a group, we were a group of 5 and had a reservation. We were seated immediately. The outdoor dining is chill, they have heaters for when it gets cooler. The indoor dining atmosphere is great with the large windows. It felt like they had the AC running prob on high because it was cold and i could feel the air blowing down on us. I asked if it can be lowered, but our server said he was sweating, ok. In that case bring a sweater if you eat inside. Our group ordered a selection of items, Fritto Misto (5/5), beet salad (4/5), cheese pizza (5/5), Margherita pizza with burrata (6/5), Penne (4/5) & Ravioli (2/5 because pumpkin no thanks). I think the best item was the pizza, the dough was crunchy, the sauce was tangy, the burrata was creamy and the basil was fresh. Food was average, the pastas could’ve been hotter too. As for the service, our server could work on his (2.5/5). He brought us water, took our order, left, someone else brought our drinks (bar), our food came, we ate, but our server didn’t check on us until we were done. He did walk by us several times to check other guests in the outdoor seating. He did bring our really quite quickly. Maybe he is a great server, but def not with us. Never judge a book by its cover. Bathrooms were decent, all gender. I’d come back for the atmosphere, just to chill, have a few drinks and pizza.

This restaurant has great vibes in a trendy place. The portions are decent, and the service is incredible. The Gnocchi is great with a strong garlic taste. The bruschetta was a little disappointing, though, because there were only two pieces.

0 STARS!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Staff and specifically the manager (geoffrey p.) do not know how to run a restaurant! Had a reservation for INSIDE seating on a Friday night for 7pm. Manager tried to come up with an excuse that our reservation was for OUTSIDE seating when we specifically called in for a reservation the day before for inside seating. There were multiple tables inside that were completely empty but the manager refused to seat us inside and said we could either sit outside or wait in line for an inside seat. Do not come here if you want to enjoy your evening. Manager absolutely has no idea what he’s doing!! I have never been given so many excuses from a restaurant manager when we had a specific reservation. He did not try to serve us at all and escalated the problem rather than trying to fix it. Save your time and avoid this restaurant (& manager) at all costs!
(See photo of empty table inside that manager refused to seat us at)

Tried Delarosa for the first time and the food was really good. I would love to give a 5 but im just not the 5 girl. I will say they have a unique but delicious menu. Very authentic flavor.
The pizza was good. I ordered the penne pasta and asked for it spicy and it did not disappoint. Plenty of meat and flavor. Their meatballs are delicious so good they dont need spaghetti. I forgot to take the picture before we cleaned the plate but they were so good. I captured it on the back end.
The crust was good and fresh and flavorful almost buttery and excellent on toppings. The drinks, the desserts, the service was excellent. The service was excellent from Joe the Assistant GM.
My team liked the desserts as well. The Italian donuts and the tiramisu were both a hit. They have a full bar and drink menu.

Delarosa in San Ramon is a gem, especially if you’ve got kids in tow. Conveniently located in City Center Bishop Ranch, it’s the perfect spot to grab dinner and let the little ones play. The outdoor seating is a huge win—right next to the kids’ play area, so parents can relax and still keep an eye out.
We ordered the gluten-free Margherita pizza and it did not disappoint—crispy crust, fresh ingredients, full of flavor. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was just as good, rich and satisfying without being too heavy.
It’s a great pick for a laid-back evening. Good food, family-friendly vibes, and the option to stroll around the beautiful City Center after dinner make it an easy 5 stars.

Delarosa – Bishop Ranch (San Ramon, CA)
My Honest Experience
Delarosa offers high-quality Roman-style pizza, solid cocktails, and a sleek, modern vibe that’s great for a night out or lunch after shopping. The food definitely lived up to the hype—crispy thin-crust pizzas, flavorful small plates like meatballs and bruschetta, and a lively atmosphere.
But…
First Impressions Matter
Unfortunately, the hostess/reception wasn’t welcoming. We didn’t feel greeted with warmth or respect, which was disappointing, especially at a place that presents itself as stylish and guest-focused. A smile or basic courtesy goes a long way—and that part was clearly missing.
⸻
What We Loved:
• Prosciutto Pizza: Perfectly crisp, rich flavor without being heavy.
• Cocktails: Well-crafted and strong—especially the Marco Polo.
• Atmosphere: Trendy, energetic setting with outdoor seating. Great for groups or casual dates.
⸻
What Could Improve:
• Front Desk Attitude: A cold reception can ruin the mood before you’re even seated.
• Seating: Mostly high-top or communal tables—not the most comfortable if you’re hoping to relax.
⸻
Would I Go Back?
Yes—for the food. But I’d hope the staff, especially up front, could match the quality of what’s coming out of the kitchen.
