Established in 2008, Delaney’s Irish Pub & Scratch Kitchen is a Stonebridge community mainstay. Known for its hefty Tex-Irish menu — think chicken-fried steak and bangers & mash — and a thirst-quenching wall of 45 beers on tap, Delaney’s is how McKinney does Dublin. Twenty-eight flat screens, three large-screen projectors and two fully stocked bars, Delaney’s offers the ultimate sports-watching experience. And, for interactive entertainment, there are pool tables, video games, a photo booth for super-great selfies and amazing, local bands on the weekends. As much as Delaney’s serves up excitement, what truly keeps the crowd coming back is the food. Made-from-scratch recipes are the order of the day with a cold craft beer or cocktail.
A range of pub grub, over 50 draft beers & game-watching are all on tap at this neighborhood tavern.

This place is legit. Do yourself a favor and try this place. You will not be disappointed. The alcohol selection is also great.
The only thing I’d have to say is staff know there is no soap in the women’s restroom. I watched wait staff and kitchen staff go in there and nobody was able to wash their hands properly. There’s a store next door…please get a $1 hand pump soap so your staff can handle food safely.
Since I first left my review a couple years ago, I’ve come back multiple times as of late, and I wanted to add new pictures and about my experiences. Long story short, there’s so many great food options here. The corned beef and cabbage is excellent, the Shepherds pie, pot pies, fish and chips, so many great entrees. The pickle soup is absolutely fantastic and a must. The bread pudding is to die for.
A few weeks ago, I had my first negative experience while dining in, and I sent an email that night to let them know. I believe in situations involving customer service that it is important to communicate with the establishment so they have the chance to fix it. They went above and beyond in their response not only ensuring that I was satisfied, but that it was an educational opportunity for the staff to learn and improve. My visit after that I had 2 managers shaking my hand thanking me for giving them the chance to fix it, and I’m very satisfied being a regular at Delaneys.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
First time visiting Delaneys today. Was seated as soon as we arrived and our waitress arrived quickly. I believe her name was Isabel and she provided great and helpful service in a timely manner.
I ordered the potato skins to start which were nice, hot, and crispy. Ordered the Guinness Pot Pie which was delicious, hearty, and the crust was excellent. The newspaper like sheet on it was a great touch with mine having the Miracle U.S. hockey, Berlin wall, and Titanic discovery on it.
Based off of my initial experience I will be back with family and friends and invite any potential customers to try Delaneys out for yourselves.
Unfortunately there aren’t many vegan food options (an impossible burger), which limits the experience for some guests. Hope to see more inclusive menu options in the future without changes needing to be made to the dish.
Giving 4 stars as I won’t send food back so they didn’t have the option to fix the issue. Plus, when Jordan heard my food was cold she wished I would have let her know to fix the problem.
It happens, we’ll be back.
