My husband and I recently spent a few nights in North Conway on a Lil romantic getaway and our first day in town we stopped in for lunch….absolutely awesome experience. Was a bit busy, but after we got our food I can understand why…..delicious doesn’t even come close. We ordered some apps and drinks to split because we weren’t overly hungry. We ordered the deep fried green beans and mozzarella sticks….both were amazing. The jalapeño ranch dip that comes with the green beans is awesome all by itself too. We also tried an really good IPA called Fiddlehead…really good!!
I did order one more item….being that my father is from Fairhaven, MA we were raised with Stuffed Quahogs in our diets for many years. Delaneys has them on their menu so you know I HAD to try them. People, I have NEVER had a Quahog so delicious out side of Mass in my life!! It was absolutely amazing…and only $5 bucks!!!
We both agreed that this was the perfect place to sit and grab a bite on our first day in town….and we WILL be back. We even bought a couple shirts to bring home
Even the service was awesome despite being busy. Overall, a really great place for any occasion.

We didnt wait for a table right at lunch time. They were busy. Took a minute for our waitress to come over. Our food was good. I got the pesto chicken salad and fries. Would recommend both. My friend got a sushi role and sweet potatoe fries. Both looked very tasty. Atmosphere was welcoming and a little different. But would highly recommend

DELICIOUS FOOD at a reasonable price point! Really cozy setting, with friendly and understanding wait-staff. Portion size was great. I ordered the Smokey Mountain burger which was mouth wateringly delicious – cannot recommend that enough.

Fries came with the burgers but could be substituted for a range of sides including (from memory) sweet potato fries, salad and soup, butternut squash, or green beans (some at an additional cost).

Only downside was that there was a little bit of a wait (~20min) even outside of usual lunch hours but just goes to show how popular they are!

This restaurant was established in 1994 and offers pub and comfort fare. We read the reviews and decided to stop in for lunch. The menu was vast and the interior was cozy. The service was great.

I had a couple of drinks which were made well. One was essentially a spiked Arnold Palmer, delicious. We had Philadelphia sushi roll for an appetizer, random but fresh and delicious. Then I saw another patron eating wings so I was influenced. Those wings were so good! Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My family also enjoyed their meals. I definitely recommend this spot!

I went in alone and got a nice seat in their dining room. My server was very nice and checked on me. I ordered a personal Alfred Hitchcock pizza. It was delicious! It has cute decorations! Lots of historical ski photos on the wall. Hannes Schnieder and a big one of Cranmore’s Ski Mobile.

We chose this place for our lunch during the trip in North Conway.
Loved their Lobster Rolls and Clam Chowder! I was skeptical when reading some of the reviews for this dish. Yet, I decided to try it anyway, because why not! Best decision I said. Fresh and juicy Maine lobster with perfect dressing (oh and generous portion, too!) as well as creamy and well-seasoned clam chowder. The service was good also.

Not going to lie, we picked this place during our White Mtn trip because our last name is Delaney. I was hoping I wouldn’t be let down. Far from it! The food and service were amazing. We had a Cesar salad (this is not traditional and our waitress made sure we were aware) which had a twist but was great. My wife and I split the swordfish sandwich and the Po Boy. Both of these were delicious! The homemade sweet potato fries – yum! Of course we had to leave with some swag bearing our name as well. Seriously though, maybe I was biased by the name but the food is great at this local establishment. Give them a try!

This place was awesome. Food – delicious. Service – great. Atmosphere – really, really nice.

The Shrimp Po Boy was the best. I loved it.

Definitely worth going out of your way to go here. Definitely.

We ended up 25 minutes out of our way and would do it all over again.

Delaney’s Hole In the Wall offers a surprisingly diverse menu in a cozy, mountain-themed setting. While the restaurant serves sushi and other Japanese-inspired options, the menu expands far beyond that, giving everyone something to enjoy. The dishes we tried were flavorful and well-prepared — definitely above expectations for a casual local spot.

The interior is warm and character-rich, decorated with ski memorabilia, snow gear, and old mountain photographs that tie into the local alpine spirit. It feels both nostalgic and lived-in, with a charm that reflects the region’s outdoor culture.

Service started on a slightly off note — the man who greeted us wasn’t particularly warm, which left a bit of a first-impression dent. However, once seated, the rest of the staff were attentive and friendly, and the overall experience was pleasant. The food and smooth service more than made up for the less-than-enthusiastic welcome.

If you’re in the area, it’s a solid place to stop for a hearty meal in a setting that blends comfort with a touch of local mountain history.

We visited on a weekday noon, but the place still had a fair patronage. Delaney’ has bar section and a dining section. We were in the dining section as we went with there for lunch.
The food serving size and quality was great. The salad was very well done and so was the pizza. The fish could have been better perhaps. But then I tend to favour the British batter for the fish. The Guinness pour was spot on too.
The staff was courteous and serving was great. Almost to the level of what we are used to in Asia.
I Highly Recommend fir good and drinks, if you happen to be in that area.
