Woke up last Sunday, super hungry. Looked up some breakfast spots and landed on Delaney’s diner. We parked on the street walked in and was seated right away. We placed our order and it came out in less than 15 minutes. The staff, manager, atmosphere and food were all great. The prices were reasonable as well. Great little diner of the beaten path. The only issue we had was a brush hair on a piece of toast. I just took it off, was gonna notify the server but it wasnt that big of a deal. May need to get some new brushes if they’re shedding.

It could be the best blueberry muffin serving in the United States! It is freshly-made, super fluffy and soft. They even cut the muffin in half and pan-sear the middle part to make sure it is nice and warm in the middle. I am impressed!!
The other foods are excellent too. The staffs are friendly. However, it takes some time to wait for the food and check. Make sure you are not in rush to eat there.

Took my Mom here for her Birthday and we had a party of seven. The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch items and they all came out fresh and quick. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and they included eggs and bacon with French toast. Pancakes, club sandwich, corned beef hash, and grilled chicken sandwich. Would definitely recommend for a nice family meal.

We met there with a group twice. Food was amazing service was on point. Porshe became of favorite server from first visit. The manager was the best our group has seen in many years as our group goes out every Saturday and seldom get table visits from managers. He visited table both times. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. Over 5 years we have went all over Columbus with a group every Saturday and this place is the best so far.

Delaney’s is the spot to go in Grandview for the classic diner experience. The food here was great. I had a pork tenderloin and the portions were awesome for the price. My fiancée had the breakfast casserole and described it as “delicious, perfect,” and said that the mushrooms were a fabulous touch. Our waitress was very kind and made sure our coffee and water never went empty. The decor inside was what you’d expect from a classic American diner. Delaney’s was a lovely spot to grab a quick breakfast, and I’ll be going back 100%!

There was a piece of brush hair in my pork! I sat here waiting for a new order, while getting rude remarks from the server. When she brought back my food, she delivered it with shredded cheese just thrown on the hash browns, not even melted on! So I had to wait even longer for them to be melted on, like they should have been. Dropping off the check, they didn’t adjust the bill at all for everything that I went thru. I had to ask for a discount and the manager only discounted 6 dollars on a 18 dollar pork. They couldn’t have taken it off the bill? Are you kidding me? 6 dollars for finding something in my food and than it not being cooked the right way? Unacceptable! Just watch what you put in your mouth from here.

First visit on a Wednesday morning. Was probably greeted by friendly staff. Sat at the counter where I could watch food being prepared in the kitchen. My breakfast was absolutely fabulous. Sausage gravy over biscuits top by two eggs that were cooked perfectly. Absolutely delicious.

09/07/2024 – First time visiting Delaney’s Diner and was welcomed warmly by a few staff members. Nice and comfortable diner like decor. I ordered one of their breakfast entrees and it was savory delicious. They had good and fresh coffee. Tight parking out front and or you may park across the street. Nice and friendly service. If you like grand Americana diners you can’t pass up Delaney’s. The menu and food is delicious. I challenge anyone to find any better French Toast. They make it with Chalupa bread so it’s fluffy and delicious.
The coffee is so smooth, not bitter at all. Even the bacon is first done in the oven to cook then finished up to your specifications on the grill.
The wait staff as so friendly also and take the time to chat if you’d like.
Definitely has turned into our goto place for breakfast or lunch!!
You got to at least try them out. Won’t regret it.

The breakfast was satisfying with early open hours (6am), large portions and reasonable prices. Recommend the pork tenderloin! The pork tenderloin was juicy with crispy skin and topped with tasty sausage gravy. Eggs, casserole and biscuits with jelly on the side were great. The hash brown could be improved.
The service could be more attentive and faster. The big plates and large portions of food make food easier to cool down. A way is that the leftover could be boxed up for lunch.
