My first stop at this lovely cafe today, primarily because I was looking for a cafe to hang out at in this area, by myself, for a brief half hour.
A bright, beautiful and inviting place with pleasant Arabic music. The range of desserts, snacks and teas and coffee was splendid. I ordered the “Bee Bites” with honey on the side and a Yemeni Tea. I’m definitely going back for more! It was the perfect little afternoon snack.
I also had a lovely chat with the lady at the counter who was interested in the book I was reading. And she shared what she was reading too. Her kind of curiosity to learn and connect with a new face was even more refreshing than the amazing spiced tea!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by their morning barista, Waliyah her energy is so positive and her smile is contagious! She always makes sure your drink looks just right (yes, even down to the color). So thoughtful!
One of the owners, Ahmad, is truly one of a kind. He’s hands-on greeting customers, serving drinks, and working right alongside his team. I have so much respect for that kind of leadership.

I tried a few pastries, including the bird’s nest and the pistachio cheesecake, and both were absolutely delicious. The Spanish Latte was the very best Katherine and I have ever had and the Turkish Coffee was absolutely exceptional and on point. My Turkish coffee was served in the most beautiful and ornate pot and Demitasse cup I’ve ever gotten to use.

The space itself feels open and roomy, with lots of natural light during the day, so it’s a great spot if you just want to sit for a while and relax. You could easily hang out here for hours without feeling rushed.
Parking can be a bit tight right in front, but if you don’t mind walking a little, you’ll find plenty of spots nearby.
Overall, a really nice place to chill with good drinks, dessert, and atmosphere.

We already know this will be our next go to spot. We ordered the Yemeni Latte Hot. One with regular milk and one with almond milk. They have a handful of non-dairy options. The coffee was spectacular!
It was great chatting with some of the owners that flew in from Cali to open up the space. Asking for any other recommendations or things we liked to see. Ahmad (one of the owners) came up to us later to ask how everything was. Everyone was really friendly!
The decor inside the space was beautifully done and the lighting was perfect. They’ll have a small outdoor space opening up by their official opening day in May.
Looking forward to coming back soon!
