The atmosphere was wonderful, with a comfortable space and clean, new furniture. For the food, I really enjoyed the Jumbo LA Shrimp Creole. The sauce was flavorful and worked perfectly with rice, yet it was not salty, which is surprisingly rare. Their jasmine rice was soft and fluffy and truly well cooked. The grilled oysters were just average. The temperature was not hot enough, and the aroma and flavor were not very strong. However, the bread that came with them was excellent. It was crisp and savory, and I honestly wished they sold it on its own. The staff were friendly, and since the restaurant is right by the river, it feels nice to take a walk along the water after the meal

Our waitress April was amazing! She always came by at the perfect time and even treated us to free champagne as we were celebrating our anniversary. The fire roasted oysters were delicious and the snapper collars were to die for. Remoulade was epic! Our entrees were just as good, but the turtle sauce picante with fried catfish was the best thing we ate. Our cocktails were amazing, definitely recommend the marsh fire!! And don’t leave without trying the bread pudding. Overall a solid 5/5 for Delacroix, a beautiful venue on the water with food and service that is amazing with prices that are reasonable as well!

We went there for Holiday lunch. Very busy and loud. Very nice upscale casual restaurant decorated for the holidays. Great view of the river. We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated even though we made reservation 2 months. ahead of time. Waiter was good. Blue Christmas cocktail quite yummy and potent! Chef Wiley came by each table to chat. (the other which shall not be named, only visited “select” tables) Drum almondine delicious and enough for two. Shrimp bisque delicious. Others had grilled Redfish and shrimp/oyster on bun. All enjoyed our entrees. Baked Bismarck- loved that meringue, cake and ice cream parts ok. Fun place. I recommend for a festive time.

Was a bit hesitant to come here as it’s in a major tourist area however the food, service and atmosphere did not disappoint.
Lovely touch with the server slowly pouring the gumbo into the bowl at our table. Oyster were fresh and delicious.

This is the kind of restaurant New Orleans has needed! Gorgeous views of the Mississippi River watching ships go by as you eat.
The duck meat pie was good – the pastry shell nice and flakey with a delicious dipping sauce.
The leidenheimer bread with butter was good. The butter was just soft enough to dip in.
The southern fried chicken with red beans and rice was a sizable meal. The chicken was nicely brined and moist and the breading crisp and seasoned. The red beans were impressively seasoned – not too salty which is a common issue, and with a taste worthy of high marks even in the crescent city.
The atmosphere was an elevated casual environment with great views and the service was great. The chef even came out to say Hi.
Looking forward to coming back!

The Delacroix Restaurant is a fairly new restaurant by a well established chef. We were very comfortable in the clean and modern atmosphere. The seating is well distanced and comfortable. The menu is loaded with local cuisine and the food that we had was delicious. Our server was also excellent, friendly and attentive.

So yummy! Here are the photos of what we ate. Everything was spectacular. The view of the river just sit and watch. We were there the evening of the Sugar Bowl so yes we had to wait. About 20 minutes no bid deal we walked out to the river and watched the boats go by.

A seriously underrated dining experience! While the food was absolutely incredible, the staff was TOP NOTCH. The chef was extremely engaging and service at the table could not have been better. Highly recommend the duck soup, smoked oyster dip and boudin balls. You cannot go wrong.

Wonder new dinner spot. We were very happy with our meal! Must get items are the smoked oyster dip and the crispy snapper collars. The caesar salad was delicious. The only disappointment were the cocktails. A limited selection and the ones we tried were too sweet. We are going back very soon to try more items.
