Eat Well Travel Often
Our first time here after seeing online that they have a Mexican Food Buffet every day & are open great hours. 9am-11:30pm 7 days a week. They have buffet every day til 3pm (buffet stays open daily til 4pm but fresh food stops coming out on the buffet at 3pm). They’re on Grand Avenue and we aren’t in that area of Ft Smith often but wanted to check it out this morning. The staff were all SO friendly and the place was really clean. We got there about 9:30am and the buffet was already full of steaming, fresh food: chile rellano’s, fajita meat, freshly made tortillas, beans, rice, chile Colorado, fried potatoes w/ meat, fried/poached eggs, shrimp, tamales, a separate hot sauce bar full of different sauces & pickled veggies, and a few different dessert options (the individual sized pineapple upside down cakes were delish). Plus more I’m sure I’m forgetting. They also have several bottled beer and drink options. The only thing that wasn’t great were the tamales… Everything else was either good or great. Not sure of the exact price but around $15 per person for buffet. We definitely recommend for a fun breakfast, brunch, or lunch to try a bunch of different dishes & grab a beer. Love that they’re open so early b/c they’re aren’t hardly any brunch options in town. Definitely give this spot a try!

Good variety of food in the buffet and a good variety ordering off the menu. They have a bar area. The horchata is very good. They sometimes change the food options in the buffet. I was s but disappointed that they didn’t have the makings for tacos, (they can be ordered on the menu) but the rest of the food was really good. We have been back a few times and we always enjoy it.

Finally got out to try Dela Fuente Restaurant on Grand. Plenty of (quite spacious!) seating; very friendly service; excellent food! If you’re someone who’s looking for a tasty (and primarily authentic-seeming; not so much Tex-Mex) Mexican buffet, I highly recommend you give them a try! The price is very reasonable for the variety and quality of the foods available! My only observation/complaint was that none of the foods on the buffet were labeled when I went, so in many cases, I wasn’t sure what I was taking… but isn’t that half the adventure and reason to try a buffet – the thrill of discovery? It’s a 5/5 for me for overall dining experience, quality of food, and affordability!

Went there today, and got 2 asada, 2 al pastor, and 2 birria tacos. The tacos were very well presented, a great value especially for the very generous size that they were, and had AMAZING flavor! I also got a slice of their flan, and it was very tasty! Their tacos are my new favorite in Fort Smith, and we’ll be back again!
Our waitress was very sweet, and helpful.
They also had a buffet, but we didn’t try it.

OMG!!!! Worst Mexican food I have ever tried to eat. The word nasty can’t describe it. All the hot food was cold and dried out. Had no taste, and what did was so nasty I spit it out. It is definitely A waste of money. Even a greater waste of the animals used to process the nasty stuff. You have been warned!!!!! Two buffets and tip was $42.66. We could of had a great meal for that price!!!!!!!! MEAL TIME WAS 1:00 PM ON A FRIDAY. We blew it when we were the only customers in the building, that should of been our warning.

My wife and I enjoy it very much, friendly staff, fresh from scratch cooking. The Chile rellenos alone will keep me coming back

I haven’t been able to eat here personally but had somebody bring me a to go order. I didn’t know there was a Mexican buffet in Fort Smith. Can’t wait to come back later this week and try some of the buffet food.

Guys go ahead and skip this place. I HATE giving bad reviews especially of local places. I also hate spending 40.00 on bad food too. The food is just bad there is no other way to put it. The meat is dry and bland. There were zero tortillas out, no limes, store bought chips, queso was like water. Tamales crumbles when you opened them. The chile rellenos were just grease pockets. Then to put the final nail in the coffin the wait staff was rude and just not helpful.
The watermelon was good though!!!

This place has great food. It is not Tex Mex so if that is your preference you may struggle with offerings.
I had chili rellenos, and tamales that reminded me of those we had as a child growing up in southern New Mexico.

I arrived at 2:10pm today to this buffet that I’ve heard wonderful reviews from and how great the fried chicken was. There is no fried chicken, limited selections, burnt queso that you have to scrap the bottle of the crock pot of, you get 1 drink with no check up except for to kick you out because the power went out. I understand that without power you can’t operate and keep a restaurant open — it was my daughter and i plus grandchild which is 1 who shared off of our 1 plate we were able to get before power went out and being told we need to leave while we were just trying to finish what was on the only plate we got. Then to be told that the check amount was $36. I don’t know how they aren’t embarrassed as a restaurant owner to charge your customer nearly $40 for 1 plate each at a buffet restaurant. This place was supposedly highly recommended but I don’t see how they even passed a health inspection. This was my first and last time coming here and I would suggest that you avoid this place and go to the other wonderful and flavorful Hispanic restaurants that the river valley offers.
