This is an incredibly Italian restaurant that is a hidden gem. The back patio is so beautiful. The food is beyond incredible and offers gluten free pasta!! We had the RIGATONI RUSTICA , and PAPPARADELLE POLLO and we were so impressed. Beyond delicious! The service is wonderful. Our server Brandon was the friendliest gentleman. Overall, incredibly impressed and we will become regulars!

What a great night! We had mussels and a couple of fantastic wedge salads for starters. For entrees, we had the tenderloin and lamb rack with a bottle of Caymus. Perfect! But the topper was dessert. We shared the best coconut cream pie I’ve ever had. It’s a must. Great food, great service and a fun, lively crowd.

Del Vista has been one of my favorite neighborhood spots since they opened. The atmosphere is great and there are 3 different seating areas. You can sit inside with the air conditioner and a bar; outside on the covered patio; or outside on the back patio in the open air. The owner, Greg Gordon, is the former owner and chef of the well-known La Vista restaurant on Fountain View. Greg is a Houston native and grew up working in some of Houston‘s best restaurants. The menu hasn’t changed much over the years, which is great because his staple items are all really good and the desserts are the best in town.
