Del Vecchio’s Bakery is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone who truly appreciates exceptional baked goods. From the moment you take your first bite, it’s clear that everything is made with care, quality ingredients, and real passion.
I picked up half a dozen donuts, and they were nothing short of incredible. Each one was light, fresh, and so soft they practically melted in my mouth. Perfectly balanced—not too heavy or overly sweet—these are the kind of donuts you find yourself thinking about long after they’re gone.
The walnut-stuffed croissant, however, was on another level. Flaky, buttery layers wrapped around a rich, nutty filling that was indulgent without being overwhelming. It was truly to die for and easily one of the best croissants I’ve ever had.
I also grabbed a toasty French baguette, and it did not disappoint. Crisp on the outside, warm and airy on the inside, it was simply amazing. I’m already looking forward to making a sandwich with it because it’s the kind of bread that elevates whatever you pair with it.
Every item I tried from Del Vecchio’s Bakery was outstanding, and it’s clear they take pride in their craft. This is the kind of bakery that turns a simple stop into a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back—and often. Also the price is super reasonable!!!

This shop is adorable and the smells are soooo freaking awesome walking in! Not like- oh this smells nice…. it’s more like “OMG what is that AMAZING smell and why do I never want to leave it?!?” lol! It’s so dang good! We tried a bit of everything and forgot to try cannolis! Will have to next time we visit Maryland! We ate everything that was recommended to us by the baker and nothing disappointed! Then we got back to family and they had gotten more goods from farmers market, so we got not only all of our treats, but some more awesome stuff at home lol! The cinnamon rolls are the size of a plate! So huge!!! The strawberry upside down cake and danishes, lava cake, some kind of amazing cookie that melted in your mouth…. a gooey and decedent brownie…. I don’t even know what else we had, it was all awesome!!!!! Don’t miss this place!!!

I went in at 2:15 on the Saturday. There were only two people left working. They apparently had a very busy day but they were so helpful and kind. And they still hadn’t a nice selection left even though it was late in the day. Place look clean and well supported by the local community. Absolutely recommend!

Wonderful homemade pastries! Friendly owner and delicious treats. The pineapple upside down cake, the strawberry upside down cake, the lemon bars, and the butter cookies with sprinkles were amazing! I will definitely make another trip to this quant town for more goodies!

Had a bit a a sweet tooth and decided to stop at the local bakery. Everything looked and smelled delicious (especially the foccacias), but I finally decided on a half dozen donuts ($9) and an interesting looking eclair ($4). Husband agrees, they were delicious, 3 perfectly glazed, 2 chocolate frosted with chocolate and Bavarian creme filling, and 1 chocolate frosted with sprinkles/ M&Ms. Will stop by again when I get the chance.

We went in May for a Sunday outing. They were actually the first bakery I’ve been in and they did not disappoint. I wanted to try a cannoli so bad and when I saw that they made them here only 30min from home we hopped in the vehicle and took off. My husband had a cheese Danish which he loved. My cannoli did not disappoint and my daughter inhaled her donut. We will definitely include this in our cheat day outings when we are up that way. Most likely will be in a couple weeks when we go to the MD side of Assateague. Definitely a must try for locals and travelers!

The best bakery around!! We buy things from Joseph every time we are at the Ocean Pines farmers market. Excellent Breads, cinnamon rolls, scones, donuts and much more. They recently made a birthday cake for us and it was delicious. So glad Joseph comes to the farmers market. He is a super nice guy!!

Excellent coffee and very warm service. The young lady at the register was very helpful, telling me about the bakery itself, while also making an entirely new batch of coffee for me when what they had was running low. Great place, will come again!
