YUM! I love guisados (especially veggie options) and so glad I found this place. Cute outdoor covered area to sit including picnic tables for bigger groups. They make their tortillas by hand so they are thick, flavorful, and chewy! The guisados options include vegetarian fillings such as huitlacoche, hongos, nopales, and rajas con crema y elote and meats like pollo, pollo tinga, deshebrada (de res), and a couple pork options I think. You can get them in quesadillas, huaraches, tostadas, gorditas / mulitas, and I think pombazos (tortas). Yeah I should have taken a pic of the menu. Will add next time.
I was a little bummed they didn’t have a taco option for the guisados (they do have a crispy tacos dorados trio or taquitos with pollo, carne, or potato). But when I mentioned being torn on what to pick, the friendly young woman working offered to make a half & half quesadilla for me! It was HUGE as you can see in the photo. I got half tinga and half rajas which was served with four different super tasty spicy salsas.
Cannot wait to come back and try the other veggie options and the deshebrada, plus the rest of the non-guisado menu. Food was fresh, affordable, and service was top notch friendly. This is going to be my go-to lunch spot when I’m in the neighborhood.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this place — the food is absolutely insane. Fresh, delicious, just incredible. We ordered the pambazo with guisado tinga de pollo, the quesadilla de adobada, and the gordita with chicharrón prensado. INCREDIBLE. I was saying “yum” every bite.
The quesadilla is perfect, and you can really taste that all the tortillas are made fresh. The chicharrón is sooo good, and the gordita… wow. I love this spot.

First time coming here and definitely not disappointed at all. The food was amazing! The portions are huge and food is homemade. The agua fresca de mango is delicious. Definitely will be coming back.Burrito was huge.

This place it’s not about the atmosphere however the food in this place it’s so exceptional, if you have been living in Mexico and you miss the flavor of the food this the right place , the size of the food it’s huge!!!! And salsas are so delicious and spicy ️
The Aguas frescas are delicious!! I been traveling San Diego lately looking for the top Mexican restaurant and I think this place is one of the best places I been to!

I went here with my family and the food took me back to my childhood! The food and salsas are super flavorful and fresh. Everyone there treated us like family they said the goal is always to have us back and they over exceeded. We will definitely be back!! Food is always great here and its so authentic, I highly recommend trying this place. The burritos are huge and love when they set up on the weekends outside and sell their carnita tacos. Bomb food! the aroma from them cooking also is a great experience lol
