Went through the drive-thru at 8:36 p.m. I ordered El Big amerimex and three chicken tacos. Everything is ice cold My french fries were frozen still. The beef taco has raw hamburger meat in it. The three chicken tacos are ice cold the double cheeseburger is ice cold The only thing edible was the bean and cheese burrito. I have been calling for the last 30 minutes and nobody is answering the phone. I will be up there tomorrow to get a full refund.

A true 4 star experience, this place is decent you just have to know what to order. The chicken strips were laughable and sad. But the chipotle chicken burrito and the epic burritos are fantastic. My advice just get the Mexican food items. The burgers and chicken are more of a gimmick

I have been here probably 6 times over the last few months, each time about an hour after their posted opening time. Only once in all that time have they actually been open. I see there are workers inside, but no one will speak to you through the speaker or the window. One time a worker (who was very, very kind and obviously embarrassed by the situation) told me that the cashier doesn’t show up on time so they can never open on time. If that’s the case change your posted hours. Or if the owner and management are actually doing their jobs, replace the workers who refuse to show up to work. I mean you have workers inside preparing the ingredients and getting paid that can’t help your customers because the worker who is supposed to be taking orders and payments will not show up. Madness. And so I drive down the street and get some Taco Bell, whose food is not as good, but at least their cashier is answering the speaker.

Grilled chicken tacos ❤️. Really happy they opened one close to my home. I love Del Taco and was sad when we moved here and there was none nearby. It is a recent addition, so beware there might be some wait time. Grilled chicken tacos are my favorite and an absolute bargain. Also the street tacos, cheesecake bites, and iced coffee is good too. It was well worth it for me.

I’m from Southern California, home of Del Taco. I used to frequent the Federal Way location when I worked out that way. Went to the Puyallup location (now closed). They were always good. This one opened, and my family was excited. 3 times in the first couple of years, all horrible food with not so good service. Tried it again today on a whim. They are consistent! Only cars in the lot are employees. One car ahead of me in the drive thru. I ordered 2 meals, 2 bean and cheese burritos, and a cheddar quesadilla. I get my drinks right after paying. Two diet Cokes, and it tastes like a mix of several syrups with a weird chemical-like back taste. a few minutes later, we’re asked to pull around to the front because “we’re waiting on fries.” I asked if they could make them extra crispy (consistently undercooked before). No problem. About 4 minutes later, the food is brought out. We were asked what sauces we wanted at the window, no sauces in the bag. My wife pulls the bean and cheese burritos out as she verifies all other items are there. I ask if she ordered taquitos. World’s smallest fast food burritos from the home of the “1/2 pound” burrito?? French fries are UNDERcooked again, even after waiting and asking for extra crispy. Took 4 minutes in the air fryer at home to get them right. It’s definitely an embarrassment to the chain.

I grew up with Del Taco. I’m so happy there’s finally one close to where I live now. It’s just like I remember it. It’s a lot of food for a fairly low price. In my opinion, it’s the best fast Mexican food you can get. The drive through is faster than the dining room, so if you’re going inside, be prepared to wait unless it’s empty.

Ordered the Carne Asada Quesadilla taco combo.
Very little meat inside of all three tacos that were ordered. Ended up combining two taco’s as there was so little Carne Asada in each.
Fries were undercooked, unsalted and overly greasy. You could literally squeeze the grease from the fries.
Was not worth the $17+ I was charged.

Very unhappy staff, most don’t make the orders at least normal. Just go there you’ll see. Hopefully they’re better towards you. IM ABSOLUTELY DONE WITH THIS PLACE, FOREVER.
