Originally from California and this is my wife’s favorite late night “junk food” spot. This location is pretty clean, the drive through flows quickly, and the staff is really kind and friendly. We always eat in the car in the parking lot but it feels safe and clean.

Went here once when I first moved out here years ago and wasn’t impressed. But honestly gave them another shot and their food is super affordable and decent! Not fancy in anyway but for fast food its a good stop for a quick bite. Their burger combo box is what I got. **i know del taco but getting burgers >.<** . Their service was quick and straight to the point. Friendly staff but really fast too!

I am a Californian moved to Washington State, we only have 2 Del Tacos in the whole state as far as I know and they had both been good. Just had it went last night I was craving it. WHAT THE HECK! My Del Taco Beef Burrito has a new name and tastes like crap. You changed the meat!!

There aren’t a million Del Tacos in the PNW, so they don’t have a specific reputation that I’m aware of other than people who watched Grace and Frankie or who visit southern California regularly.
I’m here to tell you that this is far better than taco bell. Better deals, better flavors, better value for $s, better 420 food. They also have coke zero and light lemonade in the fountain.
Also, still 24 hours a day!
Now about this location in particular: the people are really nice and seem to actually like each other and chat. This absolutely makes me want to come back, and I hope they’re good employers bc these employees are the reason I think the place shines.
It’s handier than nearly any other federal way fast food stop if you’re passing through on I-5. I now hold out til federal way whether I’m heading north or south on my ~weekly jaunt through.

Del Taco has always been known for good food quality and fast service and this location in Federal Way is no different. Del Taco is huge in Southern California with numerous locations. In Washington, there are only a few locations to get your Del Taco fix at. It is well worth the trip, but bring a cooler to take a bunch of food home for the next couple days like I do living in Snohomish County. Let’s start with the food quality for this review. The quality is extremely good and much better tasting than Taco Bell and most similar items are actually cheaper in price! Some of my favorite items are the grilled chicken soft tacos, bean and cheese burritos with green sauce (verde), snack soft tacos made with beef and carne asada street tacos with onions and cilantro. You can even get a delicious fresh made hamburger! All the ingredients are fresh and tasty. Top of your bites with packets of mild sauce, Del scorcho sauce (basically medium with a unique great taste) and a hot sauce that packs some pretty good heat that builds with the more packets that you use. This restaurant is kept very clean including the bathrooms, which is the sign of a good establishment that cares. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend coming to this Del Taco for a very enjoyable meal whether you’re dining in, getting take out, or going through the drive thru.

Hands down the best fast food taco chain remaining. Much better than Taco Bell, have you seen how skinny and devoid of meat a Taco Bell taco is? Much more affordable that Taco Time. You can eat at an actual taqueria for less than Taco Time. And did you notice Taco Time has added a tip option at check-out?

rude drive through attendant. I ordered and handed her a 100 dollar bill she handed me my shake and closed the window
she came back to the window and said she was unable to break it and asked me to give back the shake. like it was my fault she couldn’t break it. haven’t been back since because she ruined it for me and I went out of my way to try the shakes because a friend said that they were amazing but I didn’t get the chance to find out. I could have understood if she would have told me instantly before she closed the window that she couldn’t accept $100 bill but once you took the bill and close the window and came back and told me she couldn’t break it that means her till should have had money to break it since it was around dinner time.

Ordered a queso loaded nachos with grilled chicken and there are maybe 4 pieces of chicken in here. The rest just beans, queso, and sour cream. Also paid for extra queso and there were so many dry chips. I should’ve known better and checked my food before I left. Waste of my $8.xx. Also had to deal with a rude employee in regards to picking up my orders.

Edit- they’ve been weird lately. Food is good still, but I feel like the night crew just doesn’t like me or something. Everytime we went, they would mess up our order. My order was the same almost everytime. I was there sometimes 3 days a week because its the only place open. Yet, they still got my order wrong. At one point they charged me for two items I didnt order but still received.
So we don’t go anymore. Its too bad too, the food is decent.
