It was a very refreshing pleasure to be greeted and served by everyone at this location smiling and being courteous, pleasant, and personable toward me. I hate going places to spend my hard-earned money only to have service employees treat me as if my patronage at their business is unimportant. This particular Del Taco location made me feel very welcome and appreciated the moment I entered. Thanks, folks.

Tacos were good but not filled up like Howe ave same meal at Howe ave I walk out stuffed same meal here I’m still hungry on a plus side the service was good and at least their bathrooms are not locked so if you need to use the restroom, you can without asking for it to be open

On January 7 in the early morning, I arrived at the drive-through around 7:30 AM because the website clearly shows this location opens at 8:00 AM (and even lists 24 hours). I waited patiently until 8:06 AM.
Instead of opening or explaining properly, an older male employee came out and spoke very rudely, saying “we are not open.” There was no apology, no clarification, and no respect.
I was coming directly from a 10-hour night shift and simply wanted to pick up food before going home. I didn’t wait there for no reason I was waiting because the posted hours said the location would be open, and I regularly order from this place almost every second day.
If this location is not open at 8:00 AM, then the online hours need to be corrected. Customers rely on that information.
Because of the employee’s attitude and behavior, you’ve lost a regular customer. One customer may not matter to you, but basic respect and accurate business hours should.
I am posting this review just a few minutes after this incident, early in the morning on January 7, so the timing and situation can be easily verified.

Chandler is an AWESOME young man that I have the opportunity to chat with most times I come to Del Taco through Drive-Thru on Truxel…His customer service is STELLAR and the food is ALWAYS hot and fresh when he’s working…he is always very professional and friendly. He is a wonderful/Bonus asset to the Del Taco team. I am glad he works in my neighborhood…I like to call him my Del Taco Nephew…GREAT job, Chandler…Your customers adore you …and even tho we are supposed to be on DIETS LOLOL…we come back because of the delicious fresh food you’re serving up with that dazzling smile…YOU ROCK, Youngin ❤️✌

Went in the drive thru and the worker says what can I get started for you. Is that how you train employees to greet customers??
We pulled off and went and spent our money elsewhere. We are in the restaurant business ourselves and look for certain behavior when going out to eat. That’s not how greet customers in the drive thru. No up-sale, no welcome inn, no thanks for choosing us or anything.

7.00 box yum!!!!!! Da bumble! Service varies. In K street. The cook always gives me the Hannibal Lector look? So. I give her my version of the Hannibal Lector look back! Then she never says good morning or hi. So, neither do I. So, she proceeds to prepare my entree & it’s consistently tasty! On calvine .. they love to talk. So I always tell them about my fifi. She’s my trusted terrior & support person ( dog) & tell them of my travels at various parks me & fifi travel; The rock climbs, e-bike travels through downtown, old sac and back, etc. West sac is very professional, quick, delicious, & no time for idle chatter. All in all, the 7.oo box is unbeatable. 89-0 record so far. Like chavez in his prime. Go DEL TACO !

I know we came in kinda early, like 10am lol but the 2 people who were working this morning, well I don’t think they were ready to get out of bed. They both seemed a bit grumpy and the girl was not friendly at all. I think it bothered her that we had come into the restaurant. We still ordered and sat down. All the tables were dirty so we wiped up the cleanest one we could find and sat to wait for our food. Another guy came into the restaurant while we were sitting there and she treated him the same way. The food was just ok, but I was still a bit disappointed because I was looking forward to that carne asada breakfast burrito. The last time I got one of those (at a different location) it was so surprisingly delicious. I’d never been too much of a Del Taco person until that burrito so when we thought we’d get another one it wasn’t quite the same. Plus the customer service sucked.

I was berated and humiliated by an employee at Del Taco this evening. The front door to the lobby was unlocked so I proceeded to enter and I attempted to place an order. Not only did the rude black lady at the front refuse me service, she called the cops on me for supposedly being intoxicated. I indicated I work at the liquor store across the street and I just finished my shift. She proceeded to berate me, accuse me of being intoxicated due to the fact I worked at a liquor store and curse at me. She called
The cops on me because she indicated I refused to leave the premises. All I wanted was two (2) bean and cheese burritos and I would have gladly exited. Instead this women went on a rampage, cursing me out and flipping me off. In addition, she called the police on me. I was scared for my safety and the public’s safety as well. This women was hostile, threatening and aggressive. There was no way I was intoxicated I just got off work about 15 minutes prior. Please don’t go to Truxel Road DelTaco. They hire maniacs to work for them and they are scary. No respect or consideration. All I did was open the front doors and was met with fear and threats by their employees.

This my first time at this Del Taco. Over all u never really had a problem with them. It looked kinda dead at this location. Maybe because it was Sunday or the other restaurants that are around it.
The young lady who took my order was very nice, patient and courteous.
I also noticed the restaurant itself was very clean. Maybe because they had more drive thru customers than walk in customers. I would love to come back to this location.
