I absolutely love this Del Taco! I go there for a quick bite or drink while I wait for the regional transfer bus. It’s close and I especially like their new Strawberry Boba Sprite! It has real chunks of strawberries AND delicious flavored boba beads! SO amazingly good, it’s difficult to just have one drink.
I’ve been there several times and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. I made a mistake and didn’t check my order thoroughly and accidentally missed taking guacamole out of the asada steak fries but the manager was really nice and had another one made for me.
I really appreciate the great customer service they have there as well as tasty food and drinks.
The only complaint I have is I felt a little uncomfortable with some of the people in there at the time I was there, but they weren’t causing any trouble so I let them be and they let me be. I met some very nice customers over the last several months, had some interesting conversations and the restaurant itself is very open and inviting.

I love Del Taco, but I don’t know what happened recently. For the last year they have been forgetting parts of my order or messing my order up. I like the food, so I would still go back… until today. I ordered the Queso Nachos, I order them often, and the chips tasted like the were dipped in cold cooking oil. So disgusting, even my kids gagged. So disappointed!!! Good thing there’s a Taco Bell across the way.

Stopped in at about 830p on a Sunday, there was no employees at the register and the place was empty. We saw a worker in the drive thru window who was helping a drive thru customer, and he let us know that he would be right with us. It took him a few minutes for him to get over to take our order. It seemed as though he was the only employee working. We ordered 2 beyond meat 8 layer burritos and their soft tacos. The burrito was good, but the tacos weren’t as good. They seemed like the “meat” had been too over cooked, causing it to be tooooo soft and mushy. Restaurant was clean, as well as the restrooms. Would go back if in town again.

DISAPPOINTED
All I wanted was a quick snack so I wouldn’t be too hungry during a meeting. So I decided to get a quesadilla and some fries. When I opened the wrapper, I can see that the cheese was barely melted. I was starving so I had no choice but to eat it but I was definitely not satisfied. Today I bought a fiesta pack for my family and the cheese in my burrito was more melted than the cheese in my quesadilla. How does some cheese in a burrito get more melted than some cheese in a quesadilla? It doesn’t make sense. To make matters worse, my stomach started hurting after dinner today. I tried using the restroom but even still after getting out of the restroom, 20 minutes later my stomach still hurts. I’m so disappointed, I really liked Del Taco and so do my kids. But even my kids have a stomach ache. Definitely not going back. (The photo below is a picture of my quesadilla. I FORGOT THAT THERE WAS A PIECE OF LETTUCE IN IT TOO!!!)

I came into this Del Taco yesterday at around 7:00 pm. As I entered a lady kept saying “I mopped I mopped” over and over. Like she did not want me walking on the floor. I told her if she did not want people to come inside she should lock the door. This happened hours before closing, I just left.

Extremely rude employees as well as manager. I ordered 2 drinks online. I went in to pick them u and my girl had ordered iced teas because they didn’t have Powerade on the online menu. The drinks came out to almost 7 dollars and the employees would not let us refill the cups with the Powerade the insisted on refilling with only iced tea. It is not our fault your company doesn’t have the specific drink on your app.. NOT ONLY ARE THE PRICES OUTRAGEOUS FOR 2 drinks but we didn’t even get what we wanted .. kinda ridiculous if you ask ne

Excellent new Del taco in Bakersfield as of 08/20/18. The place is a newly constructed fast food restaurant.. the team here is very positive and welcoming. I work down the block from here and have come here for lunch three times, and all three times I have had a great experience. An employee here named Shane has excellent customer service. Highly recommend this place for a bite.
