I really like deltaco and it’s my go-to fast food place. I probably to Del Taco once a week.
Today I went to the Del Taco by UCI on campus Street.
I got value tacos which I always do, today I was extra hungry so I got four. I was disappointed to find out that the tacos were all less than half full with barely any cheese or meat on them. I was also disappointed with the cleanliness of their bathroom of course I wash my hands before I eat.
This probably created a pretty soft attitude towards expecting anything other than mediocre but really the tacos were not very good.
The drink station was also dirty and the ring that you put your trash through in the drink station was so black and gray me that it made me wonder about the cleanliness of their kitchen.
They also chose these green chairs that must have been there for a long time because they’re covered with dirty fingerprints and seem like they are never cleaned.
How do I say I’m a big fan of Del Taco but I don’t think I’ll be going back to this one.

Del Taco’s chicken is drier and less tender than before—total letdown. Fries? Soggy and bland. It’s just filler food for when you’re desperate. Skip unless starving.

Love their Avocado Veggie Bowl. It’s healthy and nutritious. We also love their Avocado Beyond Tacos. I have always felt that Del Taco provides higher quality Mexican fast food.
