Kinda weird in 2026!
I’m Old School with Del Taco.
Simply not the same as 60 years ago.
Not as good these days.
Beans, Taco’s and all skimpy, Xtra charges for a few onions , sauces.

One of the items I ordered was a custom order, a beef burrito with no guac, no cheese, no sour cream. I was asked to repeat again, which I did, since I may have been a bit fast over the drive thru. But after receiving my order, there was.. nothing removed. The order was for my mom who is VERY picky…

It sucked. But the service lady was really nice so I didn’t feel the need to return and have it changed since we lived far from that restaurant.

We pass buy all the time after Pachenga. Food is always great but the customer service is something like we never expected. Issac is a true asset to the Franchise. If I ever open up my own restaurant he will be the first one I will be going after.

Del taco is bomb it’s been good since the 70s it’s way better than Taco Bell I don’t care what you say. And they serve burgers and they’re pretty good they don’t give you the squirts like Taco Bell cuz all the ingredients are fresh hands down my favorite Southern California fast food

Is This Del Taco going out of business???
I was all excited to get my #1 Del taco combo as I normally would. I love their tomatos and believe it or not I actually picked Del taco over Taco Bell because they usually give me more tomatoes at Del taco .
But when I had ordered from the highway 79 in Temecula…. I opened up my tacos and saw 2 small diced tomatoes…..
I was really disappointed but not upset.
So I went back inside the store and showed them and they apologized and gave me more tomatoes, so I thought….. when I had finally got home and opened my bag … I noticed there was only 6 tomatoes in the small side can that was suppose to be the “ our apologies “ side on us .
I would have gladly paid for a normal side of tomato’s if I had known it would be the exact same thing .

So I went back AGAIN!!! And this time the same guy was super sweet and polite and understanding but he told me that the manager was forcing them to only serve 6 diced tomatoes or less on each taco .
I was very confused and so I just had them give me a refund.
I always loved Del Taco for how generous they were with their tomatoes but I guess they really are being a cheap skate now . They need to only serve so little… hardly anything?? That’s false advertising. The picture even shows way more tomatoes.
I feel like the store needs to do something about this before they get more disappointed customers. I will not be coming back for this very reason.
The employee I spoke with was nice .
The manager obviously is not doing a good job with customer satisfaction tho .

The guy I talked to on the phone was very kind and understanding. But I am overall disappointed with the service of this Del taco. Maybe all Del tacos do it, I don’t know, but I ordered a plane regular iced coffee. I go about my day and take a sip only to taste a cinnamon flavor. I call and ask, and they said they put cinnamon in their regular iced coffee. I’m allergic. So I’m very disappointed this factor was not listed on the menu. I’ve gotten their iced coffees before and it wouldn’t have this. And now they charge it and don’t state it. I have work today and I just hope I’ll be okay… not happy with this surprise. The guy on the phone said it’s usually listed but I let him know it’s definitely not when you go through drive thru. He was very kind to let me know how their coffee is now but this is not a surprise I needed.

Isaiah was very pleasant at the drive-thru dealing with us and are canceling and restarting and canceling and restarting our order. He was patient pleasant it’s customer service is outstanding and I think that he needs to be recognized for his hard work seems like he was running the show all by himself.

I just want to take a moment to give a shoutout to crew member Alicia. She was courteous, professional and went above and beyond to make sure our order was rectified after our order was initially missing some items. After a rush hour mixup I called and was blown away by the care and humbleness Alicia displayed. It’s clear she embodies the professionalism and care Del Taco wants their employees to display. Please give Alicia the opportunity to lead trainings so that all employees can learn from her! Thank you again ❤️

Went through the drive thru and just wanted a cup of water.. the lady said, “$3.80 at the window” I said $3.80? For a cup of water? She said, yea I charge 3.80 for the cup. Smh… yall can do better than that. Brush up on yells customer service skills. Don’t take your job too seriously. Remember, we’re all just numbers to them.
