Half of my order was wrong. I went in and they fixed it no problem but I had to repeat myself a few times to the employee and I’m honestly not sure why. I thought I ordered Dr Pepper but I guess I ordered Coca-Cola by mistake so when my husband told the worker I wanted Dr Pepper she said “no you ordered Coca-Cola” all rudely so I just left with Coca-Cola. That was my mistake and I own it. I spent more time asking for corrections on my food than I spent more time enjoying my food. This will definitely be my last time at this location.

Oh my god where to start this was the first time I went to this location and it will be my last generally Del Taco is pretty decent, but this location is by far the worst one I have ever been to for $17. The food should’ve been better the attitude of the employee should’ve been better. It was just horrible food all the way around I asked for an order of fries and I watched them physically take the fries out and place them on the counter as opposed to giving me hot fresh fries. These fries were old I had to put them in the microwave to make them taste semi decent. The guacamole was terrible. The Del tacos themselves made myself and my mom sick so I don’t know what the temperature of the food was will never ever eat at another Del taco again because of this location the franchisee owner probably needs to overhaul this location and either teach their employees better food safety I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone avoid at all cost.

I walked into the dining room. There were no other customers in line. The employees looked at me and went back to their conversation. After a few minutes of being ignored, I left. Del Taco is absolutely the worst fast food chain. Why do all your locations stink????

MY TUESDAY REGULAR! I go to Del Taco almost every Tuesday. As it’s a busy night after work and I have more work/business to attend to later that evening, I need a reliable bite! I’ve been coming to SJ’s Del Taco for YEARS and it’s delivered most of the time. The burritos are extra cheesy and the tacos have more meat than Taco Bell. I can’t give five stars due to the fact that my fries have come out limp the last few visits.
As for recommendations, I go for the Fiesta Pack (comes with burritos and tacos), a large fry and a milkshake! The drive-thru service is fast and professional. I haven’t ran into any rude staff here which is a delight.
Del Taco is right down the street from MSJC and several communities. If you’re looking for a quick bite I’d recommend it as it’s mellow inside! I was able to work on a few things for school and work during my lunch time as it was quiet. Customers aren’t too weird, it’s a good ambiance.

Went through the drive through around 7:30 pm. The person taking our order was very rude and unprofessional. She didn’t acknowledge that she got my order and didn’t repeat my order. Once we got to the pick up window Shift Manager April, who was the same person that took our order. She was rude and didn’t get our order correct. When we tried to give her our order again she seemed like she was distracted and we had to repeat it 3 times. Another Mexican female helped us but she was also rude when we asked for our receipt. Once we received our order it was still incorrect and we were missing items. The meat on our carne asada fries were still cold and our tacos were poorly made. Overall poor customer service and the food as disappointing.

Wanted a quick bite on my way home. So I stopped at this Del Taco. This one is like a hit-and-miss some days are good Some days or not. today was one of those that was not. I got no napkins. My fries are cold that I paid to upgrade. Basically, just mediocre service and food.I wasn’t happy with it.I don’t know what it is about this area , but a lot of these restaurants here have problems because they are not properly run or staffed by people that know what they’re doing

The graveyard shift at this location is awful. Nine times out of ten, regardless of what time I get there, the grill is “down for cleaning” it could be midnight, it could be 3am I have gotten there and random times through the graveyard shift and it is always down. I ordered the $9 box which contains a double del cheeseburger and they tell me the grill is down. The last time I went I tried ordering something else and the total was double that for half of the food I would have ordered had the grill been operating. When I pointed that out the man at the window told me “name I’m going to need you to calm down” granted I was frustrated because this has happened too many times during the graveyard shift but I was nowhere near as upset as I was when he told me to calm down. I’ve been told before by a manager that it really doesn’t take that long to clean the grill and that means the graveyard shift is being extremely lazy by not cleaning it in a fast and efficient time. Do better graveyard shift.

This was the second time I purchased dinner for my family since moving to the area a few months ago and although the first time the food wasn’t good i thought maybe this time would be different but boy was i wrong i ordered some bean and cheese burritos and the beans were still hard and they tasted sour I also ordered chili fries which barely had any sauce or cheese as for the burger meal it was ok but looked as if was thrown in the bag as it was all over Out of all the Del Tacos I have been to this was the worse . Please do better .

We order 10 hard shell tacos and they barely had meat. They were tacos of just lettuce and cheese. We argued to the manager and he was going to remake them. He told me to pull up to the front curb to wait for the tacos, and never showed up. We proceeded to go to the drive thru once again only for the manager to say, “ I never told you to pull up to the front curb, so we didn’t make your tacos anymore.”
