Line went quick, service was decent. But it’s crazy how hot or miss the food is. One night can get decently high quality food (for fast food anyway) 2 days later order the same thing and it makes me want to throw it in the trash. Oversalted fries or fries with NO salt never really know what you’re gonna get besides cheap quick food with decently edible flavors.

I ordered chicken soft tacos with no lettuce and extra secret sauce . They charged .30 cents per taco and didn’t give us extra secret sauce ! When I arrived home I called to speak to the manager (Stacy) and she was extremely rude and disrespectful! If your a manager and you speak to a customer like that ??? You forgot the golden rule of customer service “ The customer is always right!” She was yelling and wouldn’t even let me speak ! It’s ok , I will be calling corporate and making a complaint about her and the store service! It’s really simple , if you charge someone extra money , make sure there’s no doubt they get what they pay for ! Stacy needs to go back to school and learn how to speak to customers and be calm and understanding! But that’s why she is where she is ….

I ordered one bean and cheese with out sauce for my kid and when I got home my kids order had hotsauce. They can’t even get the smallest most easiest order right. I think they do it on purpose. Go to in and out burger, much better service, they are always polite and get the order right the first time.

I love Del Taco! I ordered 15 tacos and two burritos and I was on foot and the woman who gave me my food recognize that I was walking and offered me a big plastic bag to put all my stuff in and that was very nice!

The manager and her lying employee, showed a clear picture of how serious our homeless problem is. Not so much about the obvious disadvantages homeless people face daily, but, more about how poorly, homeless are treated. This Hemet location treated a very respectful and polite homeless man who asked if I had any change. I told him I didn’t have any cash. He seemed appreciative that I even responded to him, so I planned on ordering some food for him once I reached the drive thru window. I didn’t tell the man my plan though. He went to the next car and I heard him telling the woman he was starving. She agreed to help him. That’s when the rude uncaring employee came out to run him off. The woman could be heard saying she was going to buy him food. I casually said “leave him alone, he’s just hungry” The employee got nasty and said ” she is doing her job!” She got indignant with me about he’s harassing the customers and he is not supposed to bother the customers. I said” He’s not bothering anyone, he’s very polite”. She got mad, whipped around and stormed inside slamming the door firmly, completely disrespectful to me, a customer, by abruptly disengaging with me, literally slamming the door in my face, disregarding the woman, who was going to buy him food, also. By the time I reached the window, I was wondering what she must have done to my food, to run away so abruptly, while I was trying to speak up for the polite, hungry guy. Instead, the manager, I’m assuming, storms up to the window, like a brahma bull, as soon as I drive up. She asks me if, “I’m the one screaming at her employee ” I tried to reason with the “bull,” that the man hadn’t bothered anyone, in fact, I and another customer wanted to help.. the bull, takes it high level, very unprofessionally, and rips me a new one, then refuses payment from me for my food, after waiting in line at least 15 mins. and would not let me buy the man anything. Any business that goes to these extremes against hungry, homeless , or less fortunate people, doesn’t deserve our business. I’m just saying! Any manager that handles a customer relation issue so unprofessionally, and disrespectfully will only end up being a liability in the end. She lost my business. Just because someone is homeless , shouldn’t mean that gives you a right to treat them like garbage.

Del Tacos all over Southern California are good, but this one holds special memories for me since I grew up in Hemet. I don’t come back to visit very often, but when I do this is one of my favorite spots to grab a Dell Classic chicken burrito or two.
