This is an absolutely amazing Del Taco and probably one of the best. They make everything fresh and it’s hot coming out. The staff are very friendly and even when I asked for something last minute, they were kind and patient and add the item to my order. They are very efficient and they make sure you get your money’s worth of food. I was only passing buy before going to visit my sister. I had ordered the two beef taco combo with an additional set of beef tacos and churro’s with orange fanta for the drink. Everything was fresh and delicious. The ladies that did the window service were awesome. Oh yes, and the habanero sauce is so delicious with the taco’s and fries, even the asada fries and chicken strip meal. I highly recommend this Del Taco because of quick service, freshness, and friendly staff.

In this fast food industry, it’s hard to get good customer service, but Ramona delivered excellent service even got a few laughs out of my husband and went as far as clipping our coupons. In my opinion that is above and beyond!

Ordered a chicken cheddar quesadilla. Repeated it to her 3 times. Got charged for it and still ended up with a cheddar quesadilla with NO chicken! Too tired after a 2 hour rehearsal to get back in my car and drive back over there to get what I ordered! This is not the first time this location has screwed up my order and I really don’t know why I keep going back! Also, they can’t blame it on being too busy because I was the only one in the drive-thru and there wasn’t anyone in the dining room. I didn’t have any issues ever with the Del Taco by my old place in Panorama City, but unfortunately it’s too far now and the Glen Oaks location is the closest one to my new place. I think I’m done with Del Taco now since the incompetence level is so high and its no longer worth the aggravation! If I could give them zero stars, I would! Ugh!!!!

I ordered a green bean burrito and to my surprise, there was a penny inside. As I bit gently I felt something hard. I thought it must be a chicken bone, but how could it be since it’s a bean burrito. As I was looking for the “bone” I was completely taken back by seeing a penny. I was so disgusted! I immediately went to the restaurant to tell them what I had found, but was doubted by the cashier at the drive through. She did not seem concerned or even offer an apology. On the contrary, she made me feel like I was a liar or that I put the penny inside. I understand that there are people that may do such a thing, but I have no need to do this. I had to ask for a refund because she didn’t even offer. She did give me a refund, but was more concerned about getting back the half-eaten burrito and penny (evidence). Multiple times she kept telling me that she would need the food back so it can be thrown away. I will not be eating at this Del Taco anymore or at any. Still feel the taste of the metal penny on the tip of my tongue.
