I stopped in to give them a try again. The district manager was there explaining they went through some changes! The changes are Amazing!! The new manager has turned this place around .. Great Job!! The holiday decorations were so pleasant and beautiful.. she went above and beyond!!

I just went through the drive through about 20 minutes ago and got some burritos for lunch and the food itself was pretty standard for Del Taco, good but not super mind boggling or anything. I do think Del Taco has some good values items on their menu which I appreciate. What was really amazing was the employee working the drive through was somehow so fast and efficient while also being so positive. Seriously I can’t describe how much her smile brightened my day while she was also dealing with multiple orders at once and not dilly dallying. Some people deserve a raise just for bringing such positive energy to a place and I wish I had gotten her name so I could call her out but I’ll definitely be coming back to this location just for the positive vibes of that 30 second interaction. So if the owner/manager sees this, whoever was working the drive through just after noon today deserves a bonus or something. She made my day.

I came to Del Taco on 9/16/2025 around 9:10 PM for Taco Tuesday. My granddaughter wanted the Crispy Chicken Fry Box, but when we got home it was missing. I went back, and Louise was very friendly, he replaced the meal right away and even offered a drink or shake to make up for it.
I’m a GM for another fast-food restaurant, so I understand mistakes happen. What matters is how they’re handled, and Louise handled it perfectly. Great service that turned things around — I left with a smile!

Normally I am a big fan of Del Taco, but lately they have been slacking. Today I ordered the new Birria Tacos, for the price it’s not worth paying $9 for two little tacos. $13 if you get the meal. They are not too bad but again for how much you get I wouldn’t. Then I also ordered a cheddar quesadilla and when I went to eat it it was barely even warm with half the cheese not even melted. So needless to say I am not impressed with them lately. This happened on my last order as well.

I ended up getting the birria ramen today at about 1200 hrs. It tasted good and all but I found a big piece of plastic in it. So that was a turn off.

Don’t bother ordering ahead of time on the app. I know mistakes happen and not getting 6 of your items can happen, I guess. But, they do NOT answer the phone. At all. So I’m out of a bunch of items and money and no one bothers to make it right by not talking to anyone. Go to West point or Riverdale.
