Whoa! Del Rossi’s blew my mind. I grew up eating cheesesteaks (the ultimate comfort food), and this is way, way up there — probably the very best I’ve had. The steak, the bread, the cheese, it’s all spectacular, and it’s the real deal. Some of the other newer steak places are great too, but this really tasted like the ultimate cheesesteak rather than a slightly different thing (if that makes sense).
The pizza was also outstanding. Got a slice of pepperoni that we shared as a family. Completely loved it.
The place is also great. Real fast service, good atmosphere, great people. I can’t wait to go back (might even grab a couple of t-shirts — that’s how much we love this place)!

One of the best Cheesesteaks I ever head. The meat was good quality and seasoned well. The onions were cut well so you actually see them. I got mine with Cooper Sharp. The cheese meat ratio was perfect. That’s the one thing I didn’t like at Angelo’s. It tasted like a cheese sandwich. My only complaint. Del Rossi’s was perfect all around. The bread was also very good which put the icing on the cake. I also ordered a slice of pizza to try it out. It was crispy and good as well, but the cheesesteak was the highlight. Definitely will be returning. Definitely in my top 3 of best Cheesesteaks.

Phenomenal pizza and cheesesteaks. Great staff – personable and fun. We flew in from Utah and went directly to Del Rossi’s and it did not disappoint – definitely worth the trip and we will be back this week before we leave to go home. Shout out to Jenn, the manager, for her amazing hospitality and “making us” try the cheesesteak. Shoutout to Dave for letting us borrow his phone – so nice! Love the Philly authenticity at this spot!

I came here for the first time to order a cheesesteak and pizza I was accidentally charged an additional cheesesteak but was easily fixed right away.
The cheesesteak was amazing a solid 9.2 on my list of cheesesteaks. The bread was super crunchy and flavorful the cheesesteak was so tender and filling they definitely do not skimp on the meat. It tasted fresh steamy and delicious. The pizza was a solid 8.5 the sauce was sweet and the pizza crust was fresh and crunchy. I wish there was a little more sauce on the pizza but overall an amazing experience and great customer service. Definitely coming back again.

My family and I have been checking out the top Cheesesteak places in Philly. Del Rossi’s was on the list and wow, did they overachieve our expectation.
My family and I were leaving the Philly Auto show hungry and it was getting late. I was worried I’d be able to find a spot to eat. I called ahead and they said they could accommodate us since they actually have indoor seating.
First and foremost, these guys were so welcoming! We are the City of brotherly love! When we arrived, they treated us with love, and respect. There were 7 of us and they quickly greeted us, took our order, sat us down in a beautifully decorated room, and within 10 minutes (maybe even faster) BOOM! Delicious, tasty, well cooked and seasoned, cheesy, Cheesesteaks on seeded sourdough rolls were on our tables!! Fries and pizza also were exceptionally delicious to be honest. Customer service was outstanding. If you haven’t tried Del Rossi’s you have to take some time out to check them out!

Super friendly staff, quick turn around for the excellent quality you receive!
The cheesesteak was like a 9.1, making their own bread is far superior , excellent quality and seasonings, Cooper sharp is always bangin’, would definitely get again.
Pizza was perfectly crispy and I love the burnt dough bubbles! 9.2. Definitely a touch above the rest.

The cheese steak was very flavorful especially compared to Angelo’s and the bread was soft enough to bite into.I’m not a big fan of thin crust pizza unless it’s soft. The margarita cheese pizza was good and flavorful I personally just wasn’t crazy about the hard crust itself. But I would definitely go back and try more foods there and maybe dine in one day the atmosphere was pretty cool and chill.

This is the by far THE BEST Philly cheesesteak you will have in the Philadelphia area. Michelin-Star rated for a reason, the bread is crisp & freshly-baked in house, thinly sliced juicy ribeye steak, with melty cheese and sautéed onions on top. Were from out of state, but boy do we wish we ordered more to take home with us. If we’re in Philly again, we’re definitely coming back here. Most cheesesteaks I’ve had before cannot compare, and this place really blows other restaurants out of the water. Keep being great!

Absolutely loved that cheesesteak! I went with my wife and our friend when we came to Philly to visit her. The place was packed so we couldn’t get a table but we scored some seats by the wall in the area on the way to the back room. A guy brought out our cheesesteaks within 10 minutes of ordering. I had onions, Cooper Sharp snd a roasted long hot pepper on my cheesesteak. WOWZERS! It just all made sense and felt right from the very first bite. The steak and cheese just became one and they creaminess and tang of the Cooper Sharp was the yardstick by which I’ll be measuring all other cheeses. Great sweetness that the nearly caramelized onions, which I love. I would skip the long hot next time as made my eyeballs sweat and was just too overwhelming for me. I’d love it you offered pickled, sliced hot cherry peppers as an option. And that bread! Are you kidding me? I have some decent cheesesteak rolls and some middling ones over the years, but I truly wish all rolls could be like this one: great flavor and chew without being “bready” and it held up right to the last bite. And the sesame seeds really gave it a nutrients that brought the cheesesteak to another level. Keep on doin’ the awesome work!

Del Rossi’s is one of the top rated cheesesteak joints and for good reason. Their steaks are solid. Sesame seed roll with ribeye and Cooper sharp cheddar. I got mine with fried onions. While it’s not overloaded with meat the portion was decent. They asked you for your phone number. I didn’t opt in for text messages but got marketing messages anyway. Not sure if I can opt out. Other than that it was a good experience.
